Fellas, I hate to bring this up, but "Wheels on the Bus" has my 18 month old in an absolute chokehold. I'm hearing this thing 10-15 times a day, and I have to ask....

"The driver on the bus says move on back.....all through the town."

Who's he telling to move to the back of the bus.....

So hypothetically, if we were to see one or several states voluntarily Seceed from the United States, I'm curious if there have been any case studies or economic war games that have looked at economical effects of that State?

For instance, let's say Washington, Oregon, and California break off. Ignoring the potential civil war implications, I would assume there would be a large migration effect of people living in those States selling off assets and moving out as well as like minded individuals looking to move into that area. Obviously the market would be based on the supply and demand relationship of those particular population shift numbers, I'm just curious if anyone has done stud

First C&P exam in 30 days

C&P Exams :stethoscope:

So I'm working through my first claim, the primary item is lower back pain. I've read all the other posts about describing your worst day and know the general rules of what the doctor should be doing and when to stop. The service connection is a slam dunk, I've got the MRI and diagnosis, and I feel prepared for my back pain.

So the back pain is known to me, and I have a history of right knee pain with strong service connection backup. I have an intent to file setup to catch any additional items I need to claim, but I'm not sure how to know what else I should be looking into. I'm not sure what's "getting old pains" and what is possibly service connected items. I was kind of hoping the C&P

I started writing this as a comment to the "Kennedy should resign" post, but it just became too much.

I think it's time we be realistic here.

He's not going to resign. He doesn't feel shame. The only thing that motivates him is money or fear. Currently he and Cassidy fear the MAGA movement ousting them from their seat. I don't think anything is going to change that. Kennedy is spineless and Cassidy is a wind vein, the only reason we had hope is because he felt the winds change after J6 and tried to save himself. These two are lost. We need to start planning on how to remove them during their next election and replacing them with someone who is anti MAGA.

Now here's the part pre

That's pretty much it. The wife and I got sick of the State's unquenchable thirst for that sweet sweet FEMA money and I jumped ship after 13 years. Everyone said it would be difficult getting them to release me, but I really just had to convince my BDE CO and it was smooth sailing from there.

I'll probably stick around the sub because the shitposts are top tier, but I'm not going to be getting high blood pressure during hurricane season anymore.

I'll miss you poor sons of bitches.

This is mostly a question for those who have experienced both sides of the fence. I've searched around and it's mostly posts about why you should make the switch. I'm here. What's the friction points and lessons learned on how things operate differently? I'm not talking the big picture stuff like federal funding.

Perfect example is things like communicating with a Branch Manager instead of your S1.

They already booked me a hotel for drill instead of me throwing a cot in the corner.

I'm an Engineer O3, and I'm already working on getting my board file opened.

Tell me what I don't know that I don't know.

I'm just getting into the hobby, and haven't even bought my first radio yet other than some cheap Chinese dual band hand helds. I have a particular practical application I'm trying to build around as I learn before fully diving off into the hobby.

A group of 6-8 of us are going elk hunting in South West Colorado next fall. Everyone is law enforcement or former military, so we all have limited entry level experience, but I'm looking to come up with a coms plan that will ensure we can stay in touch with each other and be able to contact emergency services if we need to. We'll be in pairs spread out across 5-7 miles of rough country, but sharing a common base camp. Lots of trees and hills

I've always had the notion to have a contingency binder for my wife in the case of my death. You know, important stuff like life insurance policies, bank account info, passwords, location of my will, stuff like that. Something I could just tell her "if anything happens just look in the red binder in the safe" and know that my wife and kids weren't going to starve or something because they couldn't use my bank account.

But as I'm currently traveling for work and 800 miles away from my house and all my preps, I realized if something bad happened today I'm not going to be home for a long time if ever. My wife is an amazing and talented woman, but I know her strengths and weaknesses, and fi

My daughter (7M) is frequently insubordinate, refusing to call me "sir". She also constantly disobeys direct orders, loses, damages, or destroys everything issued to her, defaces property, and is late to every time hack given to her.
The Uniform Code of Military Justice applies to civilians when "crimes are committed on military installations" so all infractions committed at our on post housing legally applies. My question, is what punishment options do I have? She holds no rank and receives no pay. Extra duty seems appropriate, but I know she will just fail to accomplish any task assigned. I want to recommend 7 days confinement and hard labor, but I lack the Command Authority. I would

Just discovered that one of my league mates has a podcast and YouTube channel he runs that's all about Bigfoot and Aliens and the Government. I'm looking for some team names to troll him with. Unfortunately I already traded him Ken Walker so sKenWalkers at the Pentagon is out.

Give me your best shot.

With all the posts about Mommy and Daddy arguing and using the kids as leverage, this is a good time for all of us to remember one of the big rules about the Army.

Everything we do is in writing somewhere, and you need to go find it and read it.

The Army is very good about listing and reciting it's ARs, ARDPs, TMs and FMs, but what about Title 32? A few years ago, we went through a Hurricane season from hell, and spent an extended time on mandatory Title 32. Like most of the year. And after a while everyone got real tired of that shit and started trying to play barracks lawyer to get out of it. So I asked myself "what regulation applies here?". And after almost an entire day asking my
