I'm a PC Game Pass subscriber from India and I've had a frustrating experience today that I wanted to share, hoping someone can help or that Microsoft takes note.

The Billing Issue: On 21 May 2026, I purchased a PC Game Pass subscription (₹1,037.22 debited via UPI). Just 2 days later on 23 May, I upgraded to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. My expectation was simple — my remaining days would convert at the standard 3:2 ratio, and I'd only be billed ₹1,285.02 at the start of my next billing cycle. Instead, ₹1,285.02 was immediately debited the moment I upgraded, with zero warning during the upgrade process.

To make matters worse, Microsoft's own billing page shows this transaction as
