Hi guys! It’s been a couple weeks since I made my original post about a stylist ruining my hair with dark patches when I asked for highlights, then ghosting me.

My new stylist is AMAZING. I was not expecting her to be able to fix my hair in one sitting but she somehow did it!

The original stylist still hasn’t reached back out or said anything else to me since her last message, and I’m still waiting to hear back from Chase about the dispute but hoping I get my money back.

But seriously thank you guys for all the support and advice. You all made me feel way less crazy during this whole situation lol ❤️ Appreciate you all so much!!

Update: New stylist fixed the dark patchy mess!! First 2 pics are the before!

First Reddit post: I asked for full highlights, left with darker patchy hair, and got ghosted for days 😭

To give a little backround, I’ve been to this stylist before and she did a really good job so I trusted her. She’s also a co owner of the salon so I expected higher quality work.

I went in for a full head of highlights wanting to be as blonde as possible and left with hair that honestly looks darker than when I walked in and SO patchy. The screenshots should speak for themselves. I was probably way too nice in my first text.. I just didn’t want to make her feel bad. She mentioned box dye but I didn’t have box dye on my hair, just a grown out root smudge that lifted kind of brassy over time. I also didn’t want brown added throughout my hair.

I messaged her Saturday and even followed up on I
