Just wanted to hear feedback from those of you who have considered the M5U 512, and what decision you’ve made, or if you’re still undecided - as well as what has convinced you one way or another.

Personally, I’m struggling with this choice. My primary concern, after reading reviews of the 256 M5U, is prefill speeds with a moderate context window of 75-125k, and general uncertainty as someone who has not run a local model greater than 8b parameters at 10-15k context.

The value of an effective local AI would be immense to me, but the possibility of rapid development of far superior hardware in the next year or two, as well as switching from Windows to Mac, with limited MacOS experience, has

We're getting HQM Ore, which I think is really cool because it'll be rare to find and it'll feel good stumbling upon one.

It got me thinking, shouldn't Rust have more "rare finds"?

What if they added some "jackpot" type outcomes to things that are otherwise redundant and boring, to make it a little exciting? Or some really rare items you get in special ways?

Some ideas:

  • Common Crates that spawn on roads/water have a 0.5% chance to be a military (1 in 200) and a 0.1% chance to be elite (1 in 1,000).
  • Common crates have a 0.1% chance to contain a T3 weapon (1 in 1,000), and a 0.01% chance to contain an M249/L9 (1 in 10,000). Totally insignificant, but "there's a chance!"

Look, I don’t love the drone shops, but it really doesn’t make sense for something like this to only exist on one point on the map. There have been so many changes to vending machines, and making the map a connected marketplace, so if we’re going to have this, shouldn’t we be able to access this marketplace no matter where we choose to live?

I feel like we should be able to use player crafted drones & computer stations to complete trades. As long as your drone has what is needed to buy the item(s) in its inventory, you can send it off from the computer station to fetch your item from any vending machine on the map just like the drone shop.

At my wits end with Hermes. Someone please help.

Help — Technical issues, errors, config, debugging

After a month of an exceptional experience with Hermes including transitioning my entire OpenClaw workflow including Discord integration, I have begun encountering errors as of a few days ago and I can't seem to resolve them no matter how much troubleshooting I or my agent do. I've tried troubleshooting in both Discord, and the Hermes app, to no avail.

I am using Codex with Hermes, GPT 5.6 SOL, with two fallback models, GPT 5.6 Terra, and GPT 5.5.

In discord, I am continuously receiving the following error chain:

⚠️ The model provider failed after retries. I kept raw provider details out of chat; check gateway logs for diagnostics.

🔄 Primary model failed — switching to fallback: gpt

Can someone who builds in god rocks regularly drop some pro tips? I want to start building in them but honestly I get overwhelmed. There's so much space and so many things you can do with them. What are the main strategies you use for each rock no matter what?

Have watched every video I can find on them, and while a lot of them are creative, they're just too difficult to consistently setup (like the ones with 6+ bunkers on the entrance)

Multi TC? One for inner base, one for entrance side, and one for back side?

Bunkers on entrance, or just spam doors and walls?

Do you section things off in your core, or just make one giant tall living space and cram everything into it?

Focus on depe

GPT 5.4 is absolutely awful with agent files tailored for Opus. Like, horrifically bad. As others have said: "I miss my friend" that I had in Opus. It just got shit done, and was so good at it. The system it build me, is very clearly too complicated for GPT 5.4 with its current system prompt / workspace files.

Have you gotten GPT54 to feel more like Opus? If so, what have you done?

This might seem silly, but hear me out. Looking for content from someone who is top tier at quickly becoming raid-ready and snowball raiding everyone. This would mean they show everything from their tea setups, to their farming strats, to their raid prep, how they raid early game, how they use vehicles to be efficient, etc.

Like I don't just want to watch the action, I want to see all the details to try to get better/learn, as a vet player who has taken some time off, and a lot of things have changed.

Basically, who's content can I watch that plays the game almost solely for raiding (online or offline, idc)

I’m mentally blocked from starting with Notion.

I am in a state of total data overwhelm and information overload with my current systems and structure for managing life, and I see Notion as a solution - specifically I’ve been watching videos about the “PPV System” for life management, and it looks like exactly what I need.

But here’s where I’m stuck. I want to “get it right” so as to not waste time. And this is causing me to not even start because there’s clearly a lot to learn, and I’ve used systems before where if I don’t structure them properly I end up spending 10x more time on them that I wanted to, and then almost always disregarding them completely.

I don’t want Notion to be like

Hey everyone, I've developed a habit from back when I used to laptop DJ. If a track didn't have silence at the start or had a short vocal lead-in (like 1-4 bars), I would beatjump back 8 or 16 bars, press play, and let the track hit at the right spot without having to nail the timing exactly. This way I could focus on crowd interaction instead of worrying about pressing play at the perfect moment.

When I used Serato, this worked great because I could jump back as far as I needed. But now, with my RX3 in standalone mode, I can’t seem to beatjump before the 1 beat, and it’s messing up my flow.

Is there a workaround for this, or do I just need to accept that I’ll have to pay closer attention

I'm looking for advice on setting up an AI that I can run locally. My goal is for it to function like a 'second brain'. Basically, an AI that I can feed information (documents, text input, etc.) and query for both information retrieval, deeper analysis and general AI conversation. I want it to understand how I learn best, and what my preferences are, so it can generate responses based on everything I’ve shared with it, much like ChatGPT but with very specific, personal knowledge about me, which would only be possible if that data is protected and local.

I've tried Personal AI, but it wasn't run locally and I didn't really like the model in general. What I'm after is something more personali

Will the DIY tent they provide as part of GJ package be large enough to fit the included air mattress, plus 2x carry-on size suitcases, and 2x backpacks?

I'm trying to decide between using this included tent, or attempting to order a larger tent for more comfort over the weekend. I'm totally fine with spending a bit to make the camping experience better, even though we wouldn't be bringing the tent back with us unfortunately.

We're flying into Europe so we won't have much infrastructure like chairs/large shade canopy to hang out under, unless we buy those things as well. Planning to at least buy 2 small chairs and maybe an umbrella or something.

If I did want to swap our tent out for a
