Last year i got a Macbook Retina 12" early 2015, i replaced the battery and thermal paste.

It has been working flawlessly up until a couple of days ago.

I took it off the charger for a couple of hours, down to around 20% battery, then when i plugged it back in it wouldnt charge.

The magsafe2 indicator LED stays unlit when its connected.

Eventually the macbook ran down to zero and just blinks the connect charger graphic when the power button is pressed.

Ive checked that all the pins in magsafe2 plug move without restriction, cleaned the plug, the port as well as the contact pads in the port.

Ive tried shift, alt, ctrl power for 10 seconds.

Ive checked the pins on the plug with a multim

Pictures above is the pull start gear for an old (80ies or 90ies) outboard motor belonging to a friend.
When he had to motor in for service the place contacted the manufacturer in france or italy and they didnt have the gear available anymore.

I havnt seen it in its intended position but ive had it explained to me as follows:
It rides on a shaft to which the pull start spool is attached.
Through that shaft is a pin which protrudes into the diagonal slot in the gear.
The hole visible in the back is for installing/uninstalling said pin.

Ive printed off the main hull and the right "fender",those all fit together with the track unit.
Currently printing the left "fender".

Dug out the old rhino i picked up and painted at the tail end of 2nd edition and an early 3rd edition marine for scale.

Ive realized that ive forgotten to make any pass through holes for the motor cables into the main hull compartment so those will have to be drilled, as well as the space for headlight LEDs, the 3d files will get those added.

So my elderly boss has a samsung galaxy something, probably above 15.

He has on multiple occasions accidentally blocked business contacts due to him not being all that adept at modern phone usage.

We usually figure it out when the contacts call other people at the company saying they cant get ahold of the boss and i once again guide him through how to unblock a number.

Is there a way to just disable the option to block numbers?
To block the "block number" option from even appearing so he wont be able to tap it accidentally.

For years and multiple phones ive been used to Cyanogenmod, then LineageOs.

But at the moment ive got a s10e, with the shutdown of 2/3g here i had to roll back to stock in order for VoLTE to work.

The stock samsung messages requires one to hit a "view all" button to fully see long messages, which i find to be incredibly stupid and annoying since scrolling is already a thing built in to the app.

So i try google messages, can see full messages fine but am now unable to select text to copy, its nothing or the full message as a block.

Wth, i daily get addresses in messages that i need to pick out.

Can i run the LineageOS messaging app instead to get some normality back in my mobile li

So yeah, i started a regular save as i had forgotten pretty much everything.

Then was told about expeditions and that i should get on it as there are only a few days left of this current one.

I asked how to start one and was told it was from the main menu, so i did that.

Now im reading that this was probably not the ideal way as my expedition save is not nested within that my new save.
Apparently one can also start an expedition from within the anomaly to allow for transferring stuff back after the expedition is over.

Am i losing out on all the non quicksilver redeems? How screwed am i?

So this is partly a software, partly a hardware sorta question and im not actually sure this is the right sub for it, i welcome suggestions for subs that would be a better fit.

  1. Your budget -> preferably relatively cheap/diy
  2. Your country (and where you can buy from) -> Sweden but worldwide sites are possible, preferably ones that have the VAT sorted with our customs agency, like a couple of the large china ones that do electronics, i wont list to avoid auto removals for suspicion of being an advertising bot.
  3. Console or platform compatibility needed -> PC, the non-elegant way described further down would be platform independent if whichever controller was sacrificed for it was compa

People game in home theaters, some of which might have bass transducers, so this might fit here but it might also be more appropriate somewhere more targeted towards the electronics side of things, if people here know a better sub to ask on id appreciate a link.

Anyways, ive got two Dayton TT25-16 pucks that i had mounted in an old car seat i used for playing Elite: Dangerous in VR.

I rewired the .1 (subwoofer) of a cheapo creative 2.1 speaker set, with a plug so i could hook them in to have the woofer electronics drive them instead of the woofer itself as i used headphones for playing in VR.

Im not playing Elite anymore, ive gotten rid of the seat and kept the pucks.

For funsies mostly.

Im upgrading to the 96gb max my mobo supports and will be having 2x16gb sticks of DDR5 left over.

Are there any interface cards around that will allow me to use those 32gb as a drive in windows?

My mobo doesnt have CXL so something via that specification is out.

Im think it would be interesting to shove the pagefile off my NVME drive onto a "ram drive", no wear on the storage drive and good speed for if/when overflow happens.

r/StableDiffusion•

So ive been having fun genning stuff with Wan2.1, getting what i consider to be acceptable results/speeds for what im doing with my 32gb of sysram and 16gb 4060ti.

Now that 2.2 is out and with its high/low models delivering better results i find myself annoyed at the slowdown due to the model switching, taking two or three times as long per gen and i think mostly due to the loading/unloading.

Checked task manager and there are a lot of disk read/writes between the samplers, loading in the models.

Im not in a position to fork out for a(nother) larger vram card but can swing more regular ram and another NVME drive as they will be useful outside of for-fun-genning.

Been using system managed
