Just to clarify: I'm not talking about cut scenes, they all look amazing.

I understand that the Devs are probably very proud of their environmental work (as they should be, the environments are stunning) but a lot of NPC interactions feel really "cheap" with how the camera slowly pans across the two characters talking from really far away.

The characters are often framed really poorly in close ups, with no depth of field, they also don't have many body animation to sell their emotions to you, so it seems a weird choice for all of the angles to be showing their entire body, rather than have close ups like in say Mass Effect.

Not trying to complain, I think this game is phenomenal from what

E-receipts?

Discussion

Last time I traded something in I was sent a copy of the voucher to my email. I was hoping this would happen again as it saves having to keep tabs on where the voucher is. But this time I've received no such email

Does any one know if I have any agency over if I get sent these e-receipts or not?

I understand this game is made by a small team but it's been out for years at this point. It's absolutely insane to me that they've released a paid DLC yet things like framerate or awkward co-op quality of life issues or poor hud design have not been looked at.

This game runs on the switch so we know it is not a heavy game to run, yet it absolutely chugs on PS5 in certain instances. And yes, again, small dev team, I'm sure they can't optimise the game for whatever reason, but the fact there are no graphics options that might help reduce the frame dips is crazy to me. It's a very obvious issue and they've chosen to completely ignore it.

Oh and while I'm here, the UI sucks: having enemy atta

Yes the tackle is really slow, yet it has a tiny hitbox now but something I noticed that makes the tackle even more annoying is the lack of precision.

The game wants you to be very precise with your tackles but it doesn't afford you the tools to do so.

When the ball is in the air it's a toss up of which button might win you the ball, but even when it's on the group you can predict an opponent's movement but because you weren't pinpoint accurate with the direction of your tackle you'll miss. The range of it always feels lacking as well. There's zero magnetism despite there being magnetism on basically everything you do when in control of the ball.

And that's not even taking into account a

So I subscribed (like paid) to Dropout yesterday. Loving the content so far but I'm kind of regretting doing it on YouTube for the simple fact that browsing shows on there is a nightmare.

For some reason every show has an individual playlist for every season instead of just one large one (why not both?) so to find it you have to scroll through all of the playlists and keep an eye out. YouTube seems to have taken away the ability to specifically search a channels videos which is wildly unhelpful.

Am I missing something obvious or have others had this problem too?

I completed lost judgement recently and wanted something similar to play so when I saw this on sale I grabbed it.

Here's why I'm not getting on with it: the games new gimmick is "here's these cool new crowd control gadgets"

The game then proceeds to make 70% of the main story fights boss characters with weapons. It's just not fun to mash square, dodge then mash square again.

Bear in mind I'm only a few hours in, but does this pattern continue throughout the game? Or are there more group fights in the main story?

Was considering getting this on PS5 so I could play the FF7 DLC but I can't see it in the games additional packs. Can anyone with the game please confirm whether new players can still access it? Thank you!

I've tried researching this but can't figure it out. Are there any inherent advantages to any of these other than the path they take through the air? For example is one of them faster than the others?

So I just beat the game for the first time and the game seems to take that as an indication that I now want the difficulty raised a ton.

So I get towards the end of the game again but now in one of the last rooms it's spawned an armoured version of the white alien monster that continuously fires lasers, while also spawning in other boss level enemies.

Am I missing something or is trying to fight this enemy alongside other boss enemies just ridiculously annoying?

I cannot figure out a strategy that doesn't end in my getting half my life trained because of all of the constant hits coming in.

Context: 150 hours in World, but never played Iceborne, brought the DLC cheap recently.

Only done the first two battles but they seem to just go on a bit too long. like I get 70% of the way through them and my brain just goes "okay this is repetitive I'm done now"

I'm not sure if it's because my attention span has worsened or it's just that MH Rise (finished the main game) managed to smooth out a lot of the downtime or awkward repetitiveness present in MH World.

Anyone else feeling like this?

What happens if I turn this off at the wall? Will octopus still know what electricity we are using? does the meter keep track of what we use and then relay it over whenever the mini is turned on, or will we lose any information that is not immediately beamed over to the mini?

Thanks!

Hi, I just had a question, regarding the UK Railcard offer, does anyone know if you are able to subscribe to perks for one month and keep the Railcard for the entire year? Or is it attached to your subscription?

Thanks 🙂

Looking to get back into skating as someone who could only do an ollie as a kid, but something struck me, especially on this sub Reddit, literally nobody is wearing protection.

Just makes so little sense to me considering how much more prone to injury we are as we get older.

I plan to at least get a helmet but I'd like to hear others thoughts
