I am feeling so much sorrow of breaking up with my partner. It’s been Four years since he was hospitalized in late stage alcoholism. He was detoxed and began a new life. The four years before that were a roller coaster of good times and bad times. Then the years of him not drinking, I felt safe and well loved. I had to step away this week after he relapsed again. I love him so dearly but the fear I have constantly and the (as you all know) lying to himself and to me. I explained this today and he countered that “he is not an alcoholic.” I mean I have eyes, I saw you pull a wine bottle out from under the seat of your car and drink from it while my back was turned and you were our “designated

Hi I am flying into town from the east coast at like 9 pm on a Sunday night. The next day I am going on a ferry to San Juan island. Where should I stay Sunday night? I would like somewhere that when I check out I can go to a coffee shop or somewhere while I wait for my afternoon ride to the ferry station. I’m confused by allllll the hotels online so could use a little info thanks so much! This will be my second time in Seattle what a gorgeous city you have!

No longer serves oysters. Just a heads up as I went there today to get oysters - they said they are “rebranding.” Killer burger and chicken sandwich though

I have used Molly Maids in Tally for years and years. But I think the franchise changed and they are just not cleaning well anymore (like not emptying trash, not mopping some of the floors at all, leaving the shower covered in soap scum two cleanings in a row) so I need to change. I’m older with some mobility challenges so really need the help - only use it once a month for floors, changing the bed, cleaning bathrooms. Any one have suggestions? Would greatly appreciate it

Hi Do folks who use sites like booking.com or hotels.com have good results? I keep hearing it’s better to book direct for hotels and airfare so that’s what I’ve been doing but am I doing it wrong?

Hi, I live in Tallahassee and work remotely. I am planning to go to a beachfront condo/hotel room on Amelia Island (sort of near the Omni) for a week in mid-August just so I can look at something other than thick woods for a few days and maybe walk by the waves during the lesser- hot and rainy times of day. M y question for y’all is - will it be smelly there from the paper mills? Thanks for any info on this, super appreciate local advice on this
