Anyone else wish A1U would sell a "wood kit" cabinet? Just a blank with no electronics, except the LCD, and no graphics as a cheaper donor option? Cause I sure do. Maybe even no holes cut into the control deck. Would be super nice, especially since that would be a super affordable way to make our own custom cabinets.

I was always instructed to never use sealant such as silicone on block plugs (freeze plugs). It makes removal much more difficult. Also, my manual does not say to apply any sealant.

However, I see a lot of conflicting views on this. I have already installed them dry and the block is painted. I could try to take them off and possibly reapply them or replace them if I have to, but is there any reason as to why people use silicone?

I want to say it's like people who use silicone on gaskets. You don't need to, but it won't hurt if there is a thin skim layer.

Additionally, regarding sealant for the oil galley plugs: is Loctite 592 anaerobic sealant good to use for this? Or should I use somethi
