Hi all

I've been working on creating a custom documentaries hub for Bingie using Customise Custom Hub. As it's documentaries, there's a mix of TV shows and "Movies" - tried the node path, that didn't work so I just mapped documentaries/series as TV content and documentaries/standalone as movie content, separated the sources and created separate playlists pointing to each of these to use as widgets. I can live happily with that.

However, I CANNOT get "In progress" to work for either. As soon as I add the "in progress" rule on the smart playlist, all content disappears. What am I doing wrong?

So i have two pve i'm currently building - gobber (for mucking about before things go into production) and Trantor (HAOS and an XP image for legacy).

Well, that's the plan. Was waiting on parts, so gobber has a single 500gb hdd, trantor is about to be built with a 2tb RAID 1, migrate her VMs and then gobber rebuilt to match)

For the migration i'm happy to have a quorum, but moving forward (as it's a homelab) i really don't want a permanent dedicated third machine for pbs, especially since i already have a backup server for other systems (both win and *nix). What do you reckon would be best solution? Gobber and trantor back each other up to a network share? Gobber really only needs

HI all,

I got my hands on a bunch of A64 LTS and Rockpros from an old work place that was decomissioning and junking its hardware. Trying to get a linux image on a known working system (previously running droid) and not having a tremendous amount of luck. Best I get is a backlit screen but nothing appears to load.

Complete noob at this, any suggestions?

We've got a shitload of wall to repoint on removing the old paint, and I'm pondering a mortar gun. Anyone used one? Worth it, or more hassle than they're worth?

Hi all. I got the tank overflow conundrum sorted, complete with a three way tap so I can run overflow to the gutter or to a storage bin to track to other tanks. Lotta swearing, handful of dodgy chinese parts and a lotta fun

Of course me being me I couldn't fckin stop there, and have built in a float system, so if the bin hits capacity it automatically diverts everything else to the stormwater - but I'm not too happy with the flow through the float. It's definitely limiting.

Anyone rec a wide bore low pressure float? There's like, maybe half a bar of pressure on this thing, so it really needs to be something that's gonna let everything through until it bobs up and shuts off.

Wind today absolutely fucked our dust screening during a repointing job and now we have a bunch of mortar dust where we really don't want it. I've hit the worst of it with the shop vac, but is there a place in melbs that someone can recommend that rent out shop/HEPA filters? Just to deal with the airborne shit while we clean.

Hola,

We're looking at taking advantage of the new battery rebates alongside getting off the gas, and looking at models / quotes. Anyone got any preferences or recommends?

Heat pump: We've heard good things about the iStore, but the quote we got was for an aquatech Dnamic X8. Seems to be much of a muchness on the mid-tier with these two?

Battery: We have a sungrow and were looking at a sungrow modular battery for further expansion, we've also been offered a sigenergy sigenstore 6s-8, anyone had experience with these?

Our biggest battery concern is while we know VPP is a rebate requirement, we do not want the utility to have access to our system beyond billing. So, no vampiric batt

Hi all,

Just about got bingie titan doing what i want, but when i select media, the media brief screen (after you have selected a tv show, the screen where you pick the episode or just hit play) has a home icon i don't want or need there. I've been through the skin settings but can't seem to find the ones specifically for that screen - can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have a corner desk with a corner bookcase that sits on top (unsecured). I'm raising the height 30cm - already have the pine panels, but noodling opinions on what would be the best way to secure them to the bottom of the existing hutch to raise it. Cam locks? Dowels? Biscuits?

Bit of a headscratcher with this one.

Had a hard drive drop out of existence in windows. Since I'd very recently cracked the case to replace a fan, I figured I'd just left a cable loose, so while I was in there, I had a spare 1TB and swapped it out.

Original drive read fine in my dock, so I cloned it to the new HDD. All seemed fine and happy for a week...then it dropped out again.

BIOS is picking it up, if I take the drive out and put it in the dock windows suddenly goes "ah yes! I know this drive!" and restores all the drive letters but I cannot figure out why it's dropping off. No errors in acronis on either drive. System is a desktop, set to never power down hard drives or go to sle

Like it says in the title - we currently have solar, no battery. We're wanting to put in a battery, and also go to three phase to fuck off the gas and put in a pyrolitic oven and induction cooktop, but hoping to stage / stagger these events.

We already know when we get the battery we'll need to replace the inverter with one that can island, is it possible to get a three phase installed at the same time and run it with single phase, or are we better served putting the three phase house run in first, then going for the battery / new inverter later on?

So now we have the other debacle fixed, wanting to put a tap support post in since tge hole's already there. We're leaning towards composite, but does anyone know composite post stockists in melbs, preferably SE? Most of the ones i'm finding are in SA
