I bought a business class trip for MIA to IST and for the flight back, when I went to to the check in counter the attendant told me the flight was overbooked. I asked what are the options and she went to go get her manager.

Manager says I can either fly another day or accept an economy class seat and then contact Turkish Airlines after the fact to redeem either a check for the difference in cost of economy-business, or a free-of-charge round trip business class flight for equivalent distance of an MIA-IST route.

I chose to accept this (stupidly not asking for it in writing) but when I made a feedback on the website, they replied (a week later) saying they can only offer a check of 450 Euro
