A couple of years ago, I discovered Aphantasia, and through one of those quick and dirty tests, realized that my brother can imagine things in much more immediate detail than I ever could. So that was when I realized "Oh damn, my mental state IS different from other people's" and considered myself an aphant from there.

But there was ALWAYS that bit of doubt. That idea that 'maybe I AM normal, and I'm just poorly describing my situation, or it was poorly explained to me in the first place?'

That all got flipped on its head a few nights ago. I was always able to dream in visual detail despite my Aphantasia, and this night I was just on the edge of falling asleep when I actually visualized

is there some kind of astroturfing campaign going on in this sub lately? It feels like I'm seeing a much higher than normal proportion of Part 2 supporters, Part 1 critics, and people "just asking why we hate the game so much."

I know this isn't supposed to just be a hate sub, and it seems like more and more people are coming in off the streets just to tell us how wrong we all are for not liking Part 2 as if the pages and pages of artistic, narrative, and behind the scenes criticism just doesn't exist.

What exactly is the process for me to make a character with one profile, and then use that character when my (local) friend's profile is logged in? I have been combing the Creation and the VS menus for hours trying to figure out why in the world there is no search function for the CaC database.

Am I the dumb one? Because I'm not seeing anyone else on the internet that has this problem.

I just got this game, and I know there has to be an answer for this, but I am fuming right now.

I'm trying to fill out my crafting log, so I turn to where I always turn, FFXIVCrafting. Problem is, sometime between the last time I used it and this time (both last night) it stopped giving listings for the shops I can buy materials from. Except for Shards for some strange reason. I know it's not because I can't buy those items, because it's just basic Copper and Zinc Ore and Animal Skin. My wife was using it at the same time I was, and it was still working for her, so I can't imagine it's the site's fault. I've tried using a different browser, and I've tried restarting my computer, with no difference. Is there some setting I accidentally hit? Turning Self-Sufficient off and on again did
