Hi all, looking for restaurant ideas to celebrate a 40th birthday dinner! The group size is likely around 10-12 adults (5-6 couples), we like food that actually tastes good (cuisine type is flexible), but also ambiance would be important since we’d like to dress up in date night clothes! (A kid free night is hard to come by nowadays, as you can imagine).

Budget wise, probably looking at ~$100/person for food? (Excluding alcohol - I know that can easily add up way beyond this!)

One old favorite place of ours was Toca Madera in Beverly Hills - good for groups, food decent, could dress nice, and the dj’s gave a good vibe while we enjoyed dinners. Are there any similar places (other than Jav

Ideas for 40th Birthday Spa Day?

Recommendations Needed

Hi all! Looking for recommendations for a group of girls to get massages and have all day spa facilities/amenities to celebrate a 40th birthday (we’re all embracing our mom wellness era). Ideally north county or more coastal… don’t want to drive too far south as some people would be coming down from the San Fernando valley. Thanks!

Hi guys, my son (1st grade) is interested in trying basketball in the winter, and I’m wondering if anyone has experience between Youth Basketball League (YBL), National Junior Basketball (NJB), or another league?

We’re also trying to juggle Little League Baseball between games and practices (and sometimes Friday Night Lights for football - but probably can’t do all 3 sports simultaneously) so we’re typically in the Marina/ Robinwood area for sports.

Any suggestions? Tysm!

Hi guys, I know LaserAway is probably most known for hair removal, but I’m considering using them for facial treatments like microneedling/radiofrequency. Anyone have feedback if they liked Potenza (vs Morpheus 8) or Thermage (vs Ultherapy)? I’m trying to address skin quality (collagen production, fine lines around the eyes/marionette/forehead) and some redness

Would also like to know what are good prices first these treatments to make sure I’m not getting ripped off (can’t find transparent pricing from LaserAway). If it helps I’m in the Los Angeles area

Hi all,

I’ve been clenching my teeth pretty bad overnight for a few years, it’s now also happening during the day as I work. My dentist tried to give me a mouthpiece that fits over my front teeth to alleviate my migraines but also to train me to stop clenching, but all it’s done is change HOW I clench at night (basically shifting my lower jaw forward into almost an underbite position).

I’m at the point where I think masseter Botox is the next phase of treatment, but am trying to find either (1) ideally a way to get it covered for medical reasons (migraine prevention due to clenching); or (2) the most cost-effective way to treat it (dentist, medspa, derm??)

I live in north Orange County,

Hi all!

First time DCL cruiser + WDW attendee here! We’re t-minus 45 days from our trip and I’m so excited!

I’m trying to understand the best transportation options. There will be 3 of us (2 adults + a 5 year old). Ideally I don’t want to bring his booster seat on the trip as it seems there’s a lot of options in the Disney bubble to bypass this.

Our travel leg needs are as follows: A) We land at MCO and need to get to the Swan Reserve (we’re doing a couple nights there before the cruise). B) Need to get from the Swan Reserve to Port Canaveral to board the Fantasy C) After the cruise we’re going to have a free day and spend the night at the Hyatt Regency MCO before flying back to the wes

Hi all, I'm taking my first Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral and have decided to extend the pre-cruise festivities with a day at WDW. I'm a Disneyland Magic Key Holder so am really focused on trying to maximize a 1 day park hopper to try to hit the parks + rides that are more unique to WDW. I'll be staying at the Disney Swan Reserve, which looks like I'll get both Early Entry and (since it's a Wednesday) Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom. I am also willing to invest in Multi and/or Single Lightning Lanes to maximize my chances to do all the big rides (it's still cheaper than buying 2 days at the parks!). I'm planning on going Wednesday 2/19/2025, which might end up being a crowd
