Hi Sonoma County rank and file employees. I am wondering if anyone truly enjoys the team and staff they work on and may be able to provide some reccomended departments. I have had enough of the gossip queens, toxic score keepers and overall childish behavior that seems to be endemic to the agency I work for. I also seem to be expected to perform literal miracles on a daily basis.

I don't want to identify myself, so I won't be sharing where I am currently but there's no way I'm spending the next 18 years in this cesspool and I'm looking at a drastic change. Thanks in advance for any input!

Best Imax theater in the bay?

Events, Activities & Sports

Hey bay area peeps...this is shaping up to be the best year of movies since 1999, IMO. I want to pre-order Imax tickets for the release of Alien: Romulus, Beetlejuice, The Crow, Twisters, Deadpool & Wolverine, Borderlands, Venom to name a few. What can I say, I'm a bona-fide xennial and this is my year!

The theaters in my city are sad, sticky and more than 30 year old technology. I'm looking at the Imax theaters in SF, Concord, San Jose and Napa. Although I don't believe the Napa theater is Imax, it's relatively new and close.

Where would you spend your hard earned money for the best movie experience? Is there a hidden gem not included on my list?

Thanks!

scheduled shifts disappeared?

:snoo_thoughtful:Questions:snoo_thoughtful:

I had 4 separate shifts scheduled for today. I like to separate them into 2-4 hour shifts, so I don't lose entire days for some stupid app or customer bullshit. Today I went to login and see if there was any money to be made in my first 9am to 11am spot. All my shifts for today are gone but only today, tomorrow is scheduled like I set it.

First time I've run I to this. Anyone else have this happen? Is this just normal doordash bullshit?

In California. I have found myself in what seems to be a unique situation regarding applying for a federal ID. (Real ID) I could not find a previous thread relating to this specific problem.

When I was a minor I changed my last name to that of my stepfather and family. He wanted to formally adopt me but my family could not afford the legal hurdles to find and serve my biological father with the paperwork to request he absolve his parental rights. Instead, I was issued a new social security card with my step father's last name at that time and I have gone by the new last name ever since. When I applied for a driver's license I provided my birth certificate with my given name, social security

Long time reddit lurker, first time poster and all that jazz. Having recently fallen down the rabbit holes some interesting subs including r/letsnotmeet, I realized I've got many tales I can share. I have taken a look at the rules, but if I do unknowingly break any of the sub or forum rules, I'm happy to edit. I'm pretty sure I've got this in the correct sub, but if not, again I'm happy to correct. As I am a rather long winded person when I get going this will likely be a long one but tl;dr at the bottom.

In order to really paint the picture for you of the scariest event I have ever experienced in my entire life and to really feel that moment when my blood turned to ice in my veins, I've
