Hey All!

I'd like to build a shed out the side of my house, between house and shared fence with neighbor.

My neighbor is cool with me building almost up to the property line, but it would break setback code. Size is under the max sqft rule.

Has anyone received a variance, getting within 6in of the property line?

Part of me is thinking of just building and seeing what happens. Lots of people in the neighborhood seem to have sheds against property line, neighborhood was built in the 50s.

Hi Reddit Team, my wife and I could use your advice.

We're playing with basement ideas and would love some input - particularly the bathroom but all advice is welcome.

We're struggling to layout the 125sqft bathroom: my wife wants a crawfoot tube and I the standing shower, we also think the dual vanity is a must.

We're struggling with toilet placement.

We're leaning towards layout A - but the extra isolation wall is throwing us off.

Long time lurker here hoping to hear your thoughts.

My 15yr old Rancillio Silvia + Rocky combo Pics! is ready for retirement I'd say; it's seen 3 moves, been home made PID'd, 5 gaskets, 2 pumps, made hundreds of god-shots, but shakes rattles and roles more than I'd like and requires a lot of constant attention... Time for retirement.

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on a Lelit Bianca V3 w/ Eureka Atom 75 pairing.

I'm drawn to the Bianca as it seems to be feature rich for the price point and drawn to the Atom for it's robustness, large flat burrs, and quietness. Worth mentioning is that I don't think I can get into single dosing.

I'm struggling in the back yard with an infestation of this stuff... I thought it was wild violet but am not sure.
