Title2ImageBot
u/Title2ImageBot

Hey guys, while the bot was down I decided to use that downtime to spend quite a while adding something I've been wanting to for a while.
The bot now responds to u/titletoimagebot. Although custom commands/arguments/titles will not work at the moment, this will be added within the next few days. I would recommend using the actual bot's username as this one is probably buggy and intended for people who still haven't realized that there's a new bot in town.
I have also begun implementing stuff to hopefully allow the bot to parse a twitter image w/ tweet text in the same way it would a regular post.
Feature requests are welcome as always, and thanks to DigitalOcean f
Working on getting it up, config file with like 8 oauth2 key pairs is stuck on a server I don't have access to so there's no way for me to run it locally till I get those.
New stuff:
###Custom arguments
!d and !dark will invert the title colors
!c, !center, and !middle will center the text
It will not do the same one twice.
###proper custom title support
/u/Title2ImageBot “custom Title here” <custom args here>
put the desired title in quotes after the bot username tag. Will not process the same custom title twice unless it uses custom arguments
PM processing
Simply message the bot a post with a link to a reddit submission and “parse” in the subject line and it will parse it and shoot you a DM with the processed image.
Note: all of this is in beta and the bot as it sits is somewhat unstable. I work on it every day and it s
Got it running on a digitalocean droplet. Special thanks to u/mfkdso who was generous enough to donate which allowed me to get the bot back online
Ran out of money to host the bot. Don’t really have the resources right now and the priority for me is affording food and other necessities. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you need the tool, dm me and I’ll run it manually.
Sorry.

^. Same format as old bot because I finally worked the bot around to being able to use that specific chunk of code (2 day downtime because I had to build python3).
/u/Title2ImageBot "custom title in quotes here" Text outside quotes won't be recognized as a custom title
