I recently bought a Wireless Adapter 2 off Amazon and right out of the box it wouldn't pair (both the adapter and my controller continued to flicker in pairing mode).

Trying to troubleshoot, I updated the Wireless Adapter 2 from default firmware to the latest version (Firmware v1.05) but still, both the adapter and my controller continued to flicker in pairing mode.

Then I updated the controller to the latest xbox controller firmware using the xbox accessories app on windows but still, both the adapter and my controller continued to flicker in pairing mode.

My switch is on the latest firmware Pro Controller Wired Communication is set to on I've tried doing this with the adapter wired in
