Hey everyone,
I was working as a Package Handler at a FedEx Express here in Canada. Today was my 9th day of actual training, and I was terminated today because of a safety violation. A supervisor told me I wasn't bending/lifting properly to grab boxes, and they told me not to come in tomorrow.

This was the only job I had, and the job market right now is really tough, so I’m pretty stressed out.

My questions are:
- Since it was just an improper bending technique during my training week, am I completely banned, or can I reapply in the future?
- If I can reapply, how long do I have to wait for the system to let me back in?

Any advice or insight from other Canadian package handlers wo

Before applying for the Package Handler role, I thought it would be an easy job, like an Amazon gig, but someone told me, “they don't need workers; they need slaves.” When I got the offer for this job, I saw so many negative videos on TikTok and Instagram literally not a single positive video. I thought, obviously, people don’t like working, which is why they hate jobs.

But after one week as a part-time Package Handler, I will say that person was right it's like they don't need workers they need slaves like frr 😭. I get so tired, even though it’s only 4 to 5 hours of work a day but it’s still too much. For the first 2-3 days, my body hurt so badly, which was obvious if you don’t workout it

My convocation is on Wednesday, October 14th at 9:30 a.m. I have work at 2:00 p.m, so a one-way trip from my GTA Toronto home to WLU will take about 1 to 1.5 hours.

I was so bored today that I decided to write this post lol. Anyways, I finally wrote my last exam on Friday! I officially finished my 4-year degree in 3 years instead of 4. My program was an Honours BA in Psychology with a Mental Health and Well-being Specialization, a Minor in Criminology, and a Minor in Human Rights.

I was constantly taking 5 courses every single semester with zero summer breaks (even during the Spring terms). This final Spring term I took 5 elective courses and I am finally done with everything, thank God. I managed to make the Dean's List for three consecutive years, maintaining an 11 GPA. It was pretty hard for me, and I know it's not a massive deal to everyone, but I

Hey everyone,
I’m a 20 (almost 21) year old guy from Ontario who’s about to join the Canadian Armed Forces. I know almost nothing about money stuff beyond saving in a regular bank account. Stocks, portfolios, ETFs, TFSA, RRSP – these words might as well be another language to me. I’m starting from zero and I really don’t want to make any dumb mistakes.
Here’s my situation:
• I currently have about $35k saved.
• But I owe $32,500 to OSAP (student loans) that I need to pay back soon.
• After paying that, I’ll basically have around $2k left.
I’ve heard people say you should have 6 months of expenses saved as an emergency fund before you start investing, which makes se

Hi everyone, I’m finishing my last courses this summer (August). Grades should come out in mid or end of August. Convocation is in October.

I have a job that needs my official transcript and proof of degree soon. I can’t wait until October.
I don’t need physical copies. PDFs or official e-transcripts would be perfect.

Quick questions:
• Once August grades are posted, how fast can I usually get an official transcript?
• Can schools send official PDFs before the degree is officially conferred?

Any tips for requesting them ASAP would help a lot.

Thanks!

Let's start with my background. I'm almost 21 years old. When I was 15/16 years old, I used to get the normal type of acne, which was normal almost every person gets it when they're in their teenage years. But when I finished high school and started university and I was going to turn 18 years old just a week before I started getting an extreme level of acne which was horrible. It was my first year of university and it was fall 2023. After that in February 2024, I got a dermatologist appointment and took Accutane medicine for a few months. Then my acne got better. So from then on I got no acne at all.

So, the problem is I filled out the medical form in March when I applied but I didn’t menti
