Has anyone bought anything custom from a Thai tailor weather it be in Thailand or if they visit your country on tour? Any feedback or opinions on what you bought from them? Was it worth it?

I've been on Strava for about 6 years now and love the community! I actually met a really cool woman a few years ago on a few runs and we linked up on Strava. I haven't seen her in 3 years, but she still is consistent with giving me kudos on my workouts which I find surprising in a positive way. Just wondering to do others give kudos to people even if they have lost touch with them for long periods of time? I wonder if I should be doing this myself when I meet with like minded individuals? I tend to stop being so active on their feeds if we loose in person contact over a period of time.
Just seeing if there any events worth going to today in the area? I'm on my own and don't want to sit indoors doing nothing. Just looking for suggestions.
I have a friend I met in my town about a year ago. We have hung out between 5-10 times in that period. I’ve never met his wife or kid, but he told me his marriage is over. Not sure if he asked for a divorce or any other details.
He told me the other day via text he told his wife that he and I are going on a guys trip somewhere for a few days. I was taken aback as he just told her without even checking with me first. To top it off he’s pulling me into whatever drama he is with her.
I told him that I’m not comfortable with it, but he kind of dismissed my response. The more I thought about it I don’t really know him that well. Even my closest friends would t put me in that spot.
Is this som
I've always struggled with chicken legs mainly from the knee down. I literally have twigs and no matter how hard I tried working my calf muscles out they didn't grow. I recently saw a Jeff Nippard video where he recommends training them on the standing calf machine and focus on the bottom half of the movement. Man did I feel it when I did it this way. Its definitely targeting the right areas in my leg.
Has anyone tried this form before and has it shown results? It does make sense as this mimics the motion of walking uphill and having weight on top of body weight. Just wanted thoughts from others.
I'm actually going to Cedar City Utah this week for a work trip. Once done on Thursday around 1 pm I was planning on going to Zion National Park and spending the night in Springdale. I would also spend most of Friday in the Park with a plan to leave for Vegas around 3 pm. (I know I would gain an hour driving back to Nevada)
Just wanted to get input on what I should do and see in the Park in such a short window. I am also going to be alone so I'd rather hike with people vs venturing out solo. So not sure if there are any tours recommended as well? What shoes should I bring on the trip as well?
I also know its going to be hot around the 90s close to 100 degrees. I don't know if I want
I am in my early 40s and am in tech sales. My coworker is in his early 60s and was the one who recruited me to work here about a year ago. He comes off as a bit of a stoner and seems zonked out a lot.
During my training period he would call me 5-6 times a day to make sure I'm trained up. Which was great, but he wouldnt stop calling me. When I didnt pick up the phone if I'm busy he would call me back 5 min later. When I finally reach back out to him he's mad that I didnt take his calls. If I tell him I'm flying out to see a customer he schedules calls when I'm traveling or calls me when I'm going to the airport.
He can't go a day without talking to me. Or if I tell him I'm taking a
I'm moving about 25 min away from my current apartment in Northern NJ. I also am a single man moving from a one bedroom apt to another. My first place is a one flight walk up and the new place is a first floor entrance. Based on the amount of time and limited amount of things what would others tip for this move? I hear things like $30 per person or 15% of the moving total costs. Just seeing feedback from others.
I am about to sign a lease for an apartment and I saw that the landlord wants 1.5 months security deposit. In the past I have paid only 1 month for my last 3 apartments. Is it possible/advisable to negotiate down to 1 months security? Have others in NJ done this as well?
Does anyone else feel like life after Covid has changed noticeably? I'm a 43 man and I grew up in the late 90s to the early 00s. It feels like covid pushed us deeper into technology and more into isolation. I approached a group at a social meet up the other day they all seemed hesitant to talk. I noticed later on those same people were not engaging with anyone...yet they came to a networking event.
It feels like people react a bit harsher to strangers trying to meet. I do remember in the 2000s in the NYC area socializing was a huge part of going out. Meeting people felt easier...but I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way.
I'm looking for any events this weekend to meet people looking for smart meaningful conversations. I checked Meetup.com but last few I did have been light on people in general. Just seeing what options are available over the next few days, thanks!
