I just watched the movie, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed with the story, script, and execution. I went in completely unaware of what to expect, but I was thoroughly entertained for the entire three hours.

The filmmakers have skillfully balanced staying true to the original series while reviving beloved characters like Munna. They’ve managed to avoid creating a sequel or prequel, maintain the integrity of the original timeline, and still deliver a compelling standalone story within the Mirzapur universe.

Each new character plays a crucial role without overshadowing the original Mirzapur. Ravi Kishan’s performance is particularly noteworthy.

While there are a few minor criticisms,

I apologize if this seems like a silly question, but I’m constantly amazed by how many people study poker and excel at it. While I have advanced degrees in a highly technical field and have always been good at math, the sheer amount of math involved, even though it’s essentially algebra and probability, can be overwhelming. Considering that our country’s reading scores are generally declining, more and more people are switching from reading to doomscrolling, and are generally lazy and ignorant in various aspects, I find it incredible how many people are knowledgeable about the concepts of math and psychology in the context of poker.

I’ve been playing poker for over 15 years and spent 2-3 ye

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but WWE is becoming more and more of an entertainment business than wrestling business. Just look at how many faces/tweeners they have compared to legitimate, full fledged heels. Like Roman, Oba, Seth, Cody, Punk, KO, Usos, Knight, Solo, Trick, even Orton, Bron to some extent are all faces/ tweeners. I think that’s on purpose- merchandise sales. People are more likely to buy merchandise if the wrestler (sports entertainer) is popular and likeable.

Coming to “entertainment” side of the business, so much of it depends on facial reactions. We have vivid memories of facial reactions of the big promo moments, the betrayals, the surprises, the shocks, etc. We all rememb

This will likely be an unpopular opinions thread..

For me:

Peaky Blinders: IMDB 8.7 - My rating 6/10

I don’t think it is as mysterious and thrilling as it could be. A lot of stuff is just obvious and predictable, with a lot of stylishness.

Six Feet Under: IMDB 8.7 - My rating 6/10

Yes the finale is great, but so much of the story is just R rated family soap opera. Especially the mother is a caricature of a character, and a lot of other stuff is kind of predictable. The highs are very high though, but a lot of it is just average.

Ozark: IMDB 8.4 - My rating 5/10

It tries too hard to be the next Breaking Bad, but it misses the dry humor of Breaking Bad and is too dark for its own good.

I felt so stupid after realizing this. I used to try to “aim” the rinse aid liquid to get into the dishwasher’s rinse aid compartment. The liquid will come out with force and spray all over wasting half of it.

Then I realized I can put my finger on that hole and just bring it closer and then let it pour. It’s not perfect but not nearly as bad as it used to be.

We are in unprecedented times for television. When Emmys started they probably had NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, HBO, Showtime and a few others.

Now on top of all those, we have Netflix, Apple tv, Prime, Paramount, Peacock, Hulu, Disney+ and on and on. That’s why we see so many grievances and discussions about “biggest snubs” every year. Like it’s crazy to me that Severance didn’t win the best show award, but when I see Succession and The Pitt won, it was hard to argue against that either.

It will do more justice to all the talent out there if there are more awards to be given every year.
