I have a C64 with 262 degree 8pin din that presumably supports S-Video out. I also have an Extron Crosspoint switcher and XRGB scaler that works very well with other S-Video sources (GameCube, FM Towns, etc).

I've been trying to find a C64 compatible S-Video to BNC cable without much luck. Anyone aware of such a cable?

Preamble: Sorry about the formatting in advance. This is long and I don't feel like making the formatting perfect for Reddit. Also, I'm not a software engineer by trade, just a nerd who likes tinkering. I've made some assumptions that may or may not be true. I welcome feedback, but be nice. Now on to the interesting bits.

Anyone here use Extron switchers in their game room setups? I do. Its been a dream of mine for a long time to create a method to control my entire game room, TV, Receiver, Extron Switcher, XRGB Mini scaler, etc, all with the touch of one button, preferably on a tablet device, mounted to a wall in the room.

Now, specific to managing Extrons, older network managed

Looking for suggestions on how to handle this. I spent $14000 in the fall of '22 replacing my 40 year old HVAC system with a new Carrier heat pump, gas furnace and central air blower. Fast forward to last Wednesday and the system is suddenly blowing luke warm air. Looked outside and when you call for cooling the fan blades on the unit spin extremely slowly a few times then stop. Killed the power to the unit, took the fan shroud and motor off the top and confirmed the motor is spinning freely. Turned everything back on, same behavior. So I called the company that did the install. Paid expedited rates to get them out ASAP. They come Thursday and tell me that the control board and the fan motor

I'm renovating the 1st floor of my house and want to replace a section of load-bearing wall with 14' LVLs. I don't really need a contractor, I can do the work myself, but I'd like to do it right and submit the proper paperwork with the town so that its legal and fully inspected once everything is done.

Any recommendations for a structural engineer or architect that would come out, do an assessment, and provide the necessary drawings so I can get the permit completed?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, this is probably a bit of a weird question. I recently received a new cartridge for my Neo Geo MVS Arcade Cabinet and I'm having terrible audio and video corruption. The cart will load but its unplayable. After several long testing sessions with the developer's help he believes its an electrical issue on my motherboard/daughterboard. He asked me to test the cartridge in another Neo Geo arcade cabinet as a last step to rule out the cart as being faulty.

Ergo my question. Any members own, or know someone who owns a Neo Geo arcade willing to let me try this cartridge in their arcade?

Sorry, this is probably a bit of a weird question. I recently received a new Darksoft Multi MVS and I'm having terrible audio and video corruption. The cart will load but its unplayable. After several long testing sessions with Darksoft's help he believes its an amperage issue on my MVH 4SLOT motherboard/daughterboard. He asked me to test the MultiMVS in another MVS cabinet as a last step to rule out the cart as being faulty.

Ergo my question. Anyone in the NYC area (preferably Westchester Co.) willing to let me try this MultiMVS in their cabinet?

I've been looking for wheels for 3 frickin days and EVERY SINGLE SITE (20+ at this point) that purports to sell aftermarket wheels has an absolutely atrocious user experience.

  • Demand to know your car, making it difficult to search through their inventory if you don't enter your vehicle.

  • Broken/incorrect staggered wheel options (suggesting wheels that aren't the same diameter or smaller in the rear than front. Looking at you FitmentIndustries)

  • Broken search options. Selecting common size options (5x114.3, 18") results in zero results.

  • Offering a wheel in a single size rather than every size the manufacturer offers.

Is the entire industry out of its mind? Is there a source you g

I didn't see a Cosmo specific sub-reddit, but hoping Cosmo owners are welcome here? I've recently purchased a 1992 Type E - JCESE (20B) and want to do a refresh of some of the wear parts. Namely, suspension bushings, calipers, brake rotors, pads, shocks/struts (not looking for coilovers), tie rods, boots, etc, etc.

Is there a known good repo for information on what parts are available where? Parts that are shared between the FC/FD RX7s perhaps? I'm not new to JDM (I own an R32 GT-R and a S14 Kouki Silvia with an RB25DET swap) but I am new(ish) to Mazda. I owned an '82 FB and an 88 Turbo 2 back in the late 90s/early 00s but nothing from Mazda for 20 years so I don't know where to look ye

I've been offered an MVS-4 with "a bunch of games" for a price that seems too good to be true. The seller says it "works great, controls are good, only real blemish is that its missing its side decals". I'm not sure if its the full red or black base cabinet. With that said, are there things I should look out for before buying one of these? Any advice is welcome.

Thanks in advance!
