So im 29 us army vet. With a 80% va disability rating (2100 a month)

Right now using my gi bill to go through hvac trade school, will graduate feb 2027.

Most likely will have apprentice pay for a year or 2 so im thinking in 2-3 years i wanna get a condo here in north jersey.

I have the va home loan. Kinda dont want to put a down payment down.

How much salary would be recommended for 300-400k condo.

Never purchased property. Dont really know the first thing to do. Any advice would be appreciated

So i initially hired a lawyer whose price was 20% backpay if they win.

They basically dragged their feet for a couple months and in the end filed in a way that i didnt want. When i called them to talk to paralegal. I got very generic answers where they didnt really listen to me or do things the way i wanted, etc. they filed an hlr and supplemental. It sounds they just put up the claims minimal effort cuz they couldnt really give me detail.

The hlr came back denied very quickly. Within like 2 weeks. I basically emailed them saying im firing them and they notifed the va that they dont represent me anymore.

The supplemental took significantly longer. Like 2 months later i got approved no tha

I was on solco the last couple months and that worked well with 20mg but i got mallinckrodt this month and it feels fucking awlful. I feel so heavy and sluggish. Intenst brain fog. Feels like it isnt working at all.

Does anyone have any insight on this generic company? I know they had a recall in the ER version but i take IR. Am i going crazy or is this consistent with other people’s experience. I can only find threads on either the ER version or the adderall generic that this company also makes

I was recently diagnosed this year and have been taking stimulants for maybe like 4-5 months now. I making a generic instant ritalin. 20 mg 3 times a day.

I feel like im somewhat adjusted to my meds now and they help immensely but i've noticed my hearing is on another level these days. Its like i can hear everything in the room at once and my brain doesn't filter any of it out. thats an adhd thing. but certain high pitched noises are now physically painful. motorcycles engines and the car phone speaker if its turned up too loud. I started trade school recently and I was in the lab to look at a furnace. another class was banging on sheet metal and the high pitched noise felt like their were

Tell me you dont know basketball without telling me you dont know basketball. We have limited money, we need to prioritize big men. A big reason why we always had 76ers’ number is becuz we had mitch rob. If we match up with them next year in the playoffs, they’re gonna be a much bigger issue for us. Celtics struggled becuz they couldnt contain embid this year. If we dont find a good defensive back up big, when kat sits or gets in foul trouble. We’re in deep shit.

Fucking awful medicine. my doc put me on it because of depression and adhd (before she formally diagnosed me with adhd). its been over a month since i completely got off of it. The withdrawal symptoms are finally gone. But my baseline still feels off, fucking hate that she put me on wellbutrin on the first place.

Its my church friends mom’s funeral today and i had planned on attending the funeral.

Its supposed to be at 8 pm today.

Im not super close to this church friend but hes been a good friend to me at church.

The church had like a pre-wake for his mom that i attended last month but it was not the actual funeral service.

I had a really rough day today. Slept 4 hours, for the life of me could not go back to sleep. Drove like 4-5 hours today b/e nyc and nj. Just had dumb shit i needed to get done and had a hospital appointment in jersey. Didnt eat anythibg all day until 5 pm. Ate a sandwich and knocked out. I woke up at 7:30 pm and i wasnt dressed or ready to go to the funeral and the service

So i’ve been going on jobs with my dad lately. Hes an hvac and appliance tech.

He argued with a customer. Not too bad as in it was more passive aggressive throughout the service call. He wrote the invoice in the car and i went to give her the invoice since he didnt seem to like her. When i went to give it to her,

I said, “miss, heres your invoice.” Then i said “what yours name?” Her eyes widened answered quick, said her name and then, “thanks so much, wow you guys have a nice van”. And she said walked away very quickly.

The reason i asked that is because she didnt like my dad calling her “사모님“. Which is a term used to address a woman. Apparently its supposed to be used for women who are

so long story short, i got laid off and my dad came to me saying that I should take over his business in 5 or so years.

I'm gonna attend trade school next month and will go on jobs with him on saturdays. past 2 months. I've been going on ride alongs with him.

My dad works by himself and never hired anybody. He doesnt do installing. he does service repairs. he also does appliance repair (washer, dryers, fridge, etc) so that he has work on the off season.

Even when i graduate trade school in 9 months, do I need installer exp? is this something I can go into from trade school and learn from him? Considering working at a company for 2 years to gain exp with new tech that my dad did not keep

So i filed a supplemental for major depressive disorder. Didnt even get a c&p due to no service treatment records because well i was in denial in service never went to mental health even though colleagues suggested i should go. Younger me was a dumbass.

I filed a supplemental with the help of a va psych who wrote a letter for me. Got a cp exam. Cp examiner decided to diagnose me with ptsd, mdd with anxiety. A week later, va asks for a 21-0781. I fill it out and another week later they said i didnt probide enough info to get help from us army and jst records. It said needed names, dates, more specific info. So i found an instagram post of a funeral of someone in my unit that lived right nex

Hello,

Had my initial counseling today with VR&E counselor. He didn't give me decision and said that he needs to fill out the paperwork to make final determination. it sounds like i got denied.

When i look up threads, it seems like if people are not approved upon the initial counseling. Assume you were denied.

Is this true?

I filed december 10 and i still havnt heard back. I’ve seen a couple threads where a multitude of people either got another cp exam or got their decision already. Wtff, is there somewhere i can ask other than the 1-800 number

I took it 10 am today and it started hitting at like 7 pm today. super annoying. i need it during the day. i take sustained release. i dont take it with food.

Hello,

I didnt drink super heavy on wednesday. The day before thanksgiving. I experienced a 2 day hangover that really sucked and i feel like wellbutrin hasnt been working as it had been until wed. Its 5 days later and its still not 100 percent working like it did before. I take it for adhd. Whats going on? Is this temporary?
