Straight to the point: the city water here ruins tea. In a side by side vs reverse osmosis you can get at Hy-vee and some other places the tap water makes tea dark, leaves a film on top, and taste terrible. Tried green tea, oolong, chamomile, and it's the same with them all.

I hate to just be buying water for every cup of tea, but I don't want to commit hundreds of dollars to a countertop filter system if it doesn't fix the issue. I'd be happy to if it does, because the cost of water refills adds up. I just tried one filter system that ended up doing nothing ($200), but am thankfully able to return it.

If anyone has some advice, it'd sure be appreciated. A cheaper way to buy water, or a gr

I've spoken to Christians who firmly believe the spiritual has no impact on "our world", demonic possession was always metaphorical, and God never steps in at all post Old Testament. I've met others who basically believe The Dresden Files (fantasy novels based in the idea that the beings in the world's various folklore and myths coexist with us) are nonfiction, all manner of spirits roam the Earth and interact with mankind, and magic is much more real than your average Christian gives it credit for.

Do you believe spiritual beings (IE angels/demons) can have a direct physical influence/contact, or can they only give people spiritual "nudges"? Do you believe angels and the fallen are the onl

I had never realized that Ross cheated on Carol, but my wife just pointed it out in this umpteenth watch through. In "The One with Rachel's Assistant" we find out that Ross got drunk and slept with the lady who cleans the dorms in college, but we also know from "The One with George Stephanopoulos" that Carol was his first time. The only way the timeline works out then means that he slept with the cleaning lady while dating Carol.

Him and Isaac, they're the same.

Something I've pondered for quite some time is just that. As compared to Western made TV shows it seems that many more story-based anime will only produce a single season and not conclude the story, or possibly not pick up again for several years. I was wondering if anyone knew of some quantifiable reason this occurs.

I have seen one person argue that it's done as a way to hook watchers and get them to read the source material, which really doesn't make logical sense to me.

I just don't know enough about the market to determine. Is it just a cultural difference, maybe a more competitive market (where I just happen to enjoy the less popular ones), do they focus solely on Japanese viewers a

How much damage can I sustain from my own attack?

A strange thought occurred to me the other day. Can I K.O. myself in one one hit? I think so, but help me find the most efficient and likely way to succeed while my opponent survives.

No Counter or Mirror Coat, no Self Destruct or Explosion. Only damage due to my own attack, including recoil, abilities, and items from myself and my enemy.

So far I have Life Orb enhanced Head Smash against a Ferrothorn holding a Rocky Helmet.

Edit: changed kill to K.O. because I accidentally triggered the hotlinehelpbot.
