I'm 36M, tall, fit, white average in looks. My dating life is literally zero. I don't get any like on dating apps, despite being there for the last 6 years. I do plenty of activities, and meet new people regularly but most people are already in relationships and more often than not, not interested.

After many years single and not even liked by anyone I came up to the conclusion that I am an excess man in this society. Never chosen by anyone, I'm not even thinking about finding the love of my life, maybe just enjoying a date, a conversation, sharing a coffee with someone who genuinely wants to know me better.

Absolutely unworthy of being seen, even less loved by anyone. I do have a great jo

We all know "have a personality" is probably the number one dating advice ever, but no matter how much I try to investigate I never found what is really "having a personality". And I believe this is what's holding me back.

I haven't been on a date in more than 6 years. I tried to work on myself and put myself out for more than 5 years. Read tons of books, joined activities I like, progressed in my career, moved to a new apartment, I travel as much as I can, I meet new people regularly. And I do talk to girls, in fact I met two of my best (F) friends in the last years and we talk almost every day (they are married and good friends of mine).

I guess it is clear I don't have a personality and

We all know desperation kills attraction, but no matter how much I try to investigate I never found a cure for desperation. And this is what's holding me back.

And I am actually late because I don't think is healthy having a family wi

This sub promotes the don't settle rhetoric on every other post. I don't have an opinion in that matter because I don't even get first dates (36M). However I am curious about what people in this sub consider is settling. I'm wondering if this is the reason of my singleness, if nobody is supposed to settle, why would anyone settle with me? No matter how much I work on myself there are always better options, likely plenty of better options.

Dating is not for me, I tried for many years, apps, activities, friends, work, I met a lot of new people, I even made good (F) friends, but I couldn't get any single date. I couldn't get anyone interested, even slightly on spending time with me.

Life passed by, unfortunately. I am too old (36M), the hope of having a partner and a family slowly vanished.

I worked on myself, I tried to educate myself about dating and relationships, books, podcasts, articles. Nothing worked.

Whatever women want in men I don't have it. I cant force anyone to like or love me.

I can't keep waiting the rest of my life for someone who is interested in getting to know me. It does not make sense, it's too late.

For the sake of a healthy discussion I'm going to rule out how many women are overweight and never do any type of exercise.

The most common dating advice for men is working on yourself. Including the physical appearance, going to the gym, doing regular skincare, getting a nice haircut and wear nice clothes.

It is unbelievable how many women on dating apps have a messy, unkempt hairstyle, like they never went to the hairdresser. Most of them barely do any skincare and have pimples and other imperfections.

And about dressing I guess everyone has their own style but they should put a little bit more effort on that regard.

As a man, I do a lot of sport and I am fit, I do regular haircuts, I

It feels like everyone here hates online dating. Here people think OLD men and women are all terrible people, shallow, dumb, unable to have a relationship.

The truth is that OLD people are the same people you can find IRL....

IRL dating is highly overrated in this sub, like if someone out of the apps is a better human being compared to people in the apps.

The truth is that nowadays 80%+ couples meet online and is BY FAR the top 1 way of finding a new partner. If you don't find someone online your chances IRL are extremely slim.

Hi, I recently opened an account in a dating app for international dating.

It's surprising because at home I get literally zero likes while in this new app I got 1000+ likes in 2 days.

I'm just an average white man, therefore I qualify as a passport bro for most of them. What baffles me is how can be possible that at home I get literally zero likes and zero conversations and here I have so many conversations I can't follow, they didn't ask for money (yet), and they are genuinely interested and asking questions about myself, saying I am very attractive (I'm not ugly by any means, I'm tall and fit, but at home I feel invisible to every woman).

I get that most of them would be interested in

Bro, you are so wrong. I wish you were right lol.

I'm tall, I'm fit but my face is average. I get literally zero likes on apps, zero dates when I approached IRL, and trust me I approached a lot, I've been 6 years joining social activities constantly to meet new people.

Obviously I put my height on my apps profile, still nothing.

Height is useless for dating, if your face doesn't pass, it doesn't matter if you are a giant. They would rather date a cute short dude than myself as a random average tall dude. In my experience they don't even consider dating someone like me.

I wish you were right, I would be wibbly-wobbly every week.

I'm 36M and I'm going through 6+ years of zero dating prospects, seeing my life passing by and totally unable to get someone interested.

I tried apps with zero success, I tried IRL, I read tons of books about dating, socializing, relationships. I'm following consistently the basic dating advice, I'm tall, fit, good career, I'm quite social and I have good friends even F friends.

Dating is not for me, I am getting older and I can't go back and get extra years to keep trying. The hope of having a family is slowly vanishing.

I feel like I've done much more than the average person to date and got literally nothing. I tried with the bottom of my heart and didn't happen. Now what?

I see a lot of complaining about token usage, weekly resets and unplanned resets pushing the reset date.

Let me clarify something. You should use ALL your tokens as soon as they are available. I'm not saying you have to prompt stupid requests, but if you have something really important in your to-do list you should use all your tokens in one day, or two days max.

Why? First of all because you can benefit from unplanned resets. But more importantly, any completed task is a completed task.

I will never understand people saving tokens for the following day, or doing 20% per day. Either you are scamming your employer by pretending you are working 5 days when you can finish in one day, or for
