Not sure if the devs check this subreddit, but it really sucks that there's no way to replace the trees and shrubs on your land, once you cut them down.

I can get not wanting to have them grow back and mess up your builds, but it'd at least be nice to be able to replant them. The trees you get in build mode are nice, but they're really not the same, and it doesn't include the shrubs at all.

I know I'm going to get shit for this, but despite how much it annoys me, I want to understand.

Because whether or not I like it on a personal level, I just fundamentally don't see how it could be considered well done. It all just sounds so forced and amateurish.

If anyone can break it down or something? Like, not just what is good about it, but maybe give examples or draw comparisons that put it in perspective? I dunno.

So I'm at the lab right now, just before the first meeting with Dr Halyn. Completely by accident, I discover that if you jump over the ledge before you've triggered the cutscene, you can explore the rest of the area well before rescuing Mel.

However, I can't seem to get past a certain point without dying. It's WAY too far a run to get back, so what I want to know is... does this happen to be a known thing? Is there any benefit to powering through, or should I just come back later?

Does anyone know how the second enchantment option works? It says a power shot "pulls enemies into melee range", yet what are the limits?

Would make a save and test it myself, but I've already killed all the enemies nearby. Any answers are appreciated!

That's a damn rarity. I had someone overhear a cutscene from the other room, and they actually mistook it for me watching a movie.

Major props to the devs, the voice actors, and especially whoever was in charge of sound production to give such good voice direction. Y'all really went above and beyond here.

New-ish player here. I just lost my hunter due to a disconnect. I was running solo, literally moments from picking up the bounty. Game goes by, and I come back to find the match over.

My guy was only 3 levels from retirement, and had both Necro AND Death Cheat. This was the only possible way I could have lost them before retirement.

It hurts, man...

The game relies so much on sound, it puts you at a huge disadvantage if you're not wearing headphones with spatial audio. Then there are people like me, who have hearing issues on top of that.

An accessibility tool for visualizing sound effects would go a long way to even things out. Maybe just little indicators on the edges of the screen to show you which direction a sound is coming from?

Really is such a cool game. I just wish I could tell what was going on around me!

Okay, so... I debated using an alt account for this, but it's not like I hide my condition or anything. I have severe hyperacusis. It comes with a real bad sensitivity to not only loud sounds but also certain frequencies.

Due to my condition, I currently can't live a normal life. I can't hang out for long periods in developed areas or even be inside my own house without the power off. I had to quit my job and everything.

Headphones don't work—the only way I've been able to find relief is by spending all my time outdoors. That's been more difficult since the cicadas became active, but I digress.

I've been looking into buying land out in the middle of nowhere and building a place I can live

Longtime local, just recently developed a medical condition that requires me to dramatically limit my sodium intake. It's pretty restrictive, so the lower intake, the better.

Bonus points if they actively have nutrition information and/or an ingredient list available. Gotta work around some allergies as well.

Every time I read stuff on here, I end up losing the motivation to play. The negatively and the criticisms are definitely warranted, but damn, I paid $70 for this game!

I want to get all I can out of it, before the wonder is completely replaced by disappointment. Otherwise, what was the point?
