So, basically the first time I'm properly playing the game, messing around with necromancer, and what's confusing me is that there's only icons for the ritual costs, which are sometimes obvious, sometimes not.

The hands are obvious, since it's a resource that's explained and is part of your income. The AP I could figure out fairly easily from seeing the same icon in terrain info and just testing the ritual. But then I have the pyramid of skulls which needs 25 hands, but also 25 skull icons? I mean the sensed dead is shown as skull icons, but also when I used the ritual didn't go down, so unclear what it's supposed to be. Then there's animate abomination which requires 50 hands, but also 50

So, having access to lv 10 turnip seeds finally I wanted to start slowly upgrading my equipment but I'm having trouble getting the shield to behave, I'm only getting the bonus for reaching total lv 60 based on what Barrett's saying.

Here's what I did:

  1. Made a Bone Shield (the highest shield I can currently craft) and added in a lightning mane, cursed doll, and a broken hilt for resistances (none of these were lv 10)
  2. Using turnip seeds I level it up to lv 10
  3. I make an Iron Shield using two lv 10 iron, the leveled up Bone Shield, and the rest lv 10 turnip seeds
  4. Reload and recraft until I can see that the Iron Shield inherited the resistances added in by the ingredients in step 1 5

Is there some place I can use to check what requirements a recipe has or where to get it if it doesn't come from bread? I feel like I have weird gaps in what I'm getting from the bread (e.g. my list of armors goes from cloth to diamond level protector) and I want to be able to know when it's because I have to find the recipe or when it's linked to a skill like weapons are or what

So I'm playing RF4S and I wanted to understanding how the crafting/forging/etc. XP gets calculated, though I couldn't find any formulas or anything only people mostly saying to level up forging by upgrading cheap stuff with cheap iron to lv 10. Since the RP cost seemed way too large for a good leveling method (which I slightly later realized was simply because I was trying to use a lv 7 iron to upgrade, the lv 1 ones were much more reasonable) I wanted to do some testing.

So I checked how much XP I got from making a thing, upgrading a thing, etc. (side-question, is there an easier way to load a save than alt f4 and just restarting? going into the save menu and back to the title screen seeme

Antistasi vs. Old Man vs. others

:snoo_thoughtful: DISCUSS A3

Hi, so I wanted to see some comparisons between the different options for play this kind of campaign/sandbox style gameplay that involves some progression, resource gathering or whatnot. I tried searching but I found surprisingly few posts about this and the most recent one I found was from over a year ago, so I wanted to ask about it now to hear the pros and cons of each, even if maybe not that much has changed since that post.

I played a decent amount of Antistasi Ultimate last year and a little bit of Old Man, so I have some information about them but I'm still interested to hear others' opinions who are more probably familiar with the different options and have a better understanding of

Hi, I just started playing, and I was trying to put together a script that would go through all the servers depth first, nuke them, then run as many threads of the basic EHT script on as it can (just the one from the tutorial minus the nuking that was included), but for whatever reason after going through 2 branches from home fully (which is the n00dles server, plus one proper branch) it just goes "Script finished running" followed by "printf: Failed to run due to script being killed." and I don't understand why it's finishing, and more specifically why it's finishing at the end of the second branch and not the first. Not sure if I just missed something about how the scripts work or if I'm j

I'm on Win 10, currently on the latest 100.2 version, but this has been an issue I've had for a long time now. I don't use PowerToys a lot, but I want to to be there when I need it, but occasionally when I try to use one of the modules it's just not working and I see that PowerToys just exited at some point.

I don't know why it does this, but it's annoying when it happens, and having tried searching for this a few times now, apparently I'm the only one having this issue so I wanted to ask about it directly. I checked the errors in event viewer as a potential explanation but there's nothing for today at all there either. I'm hoping someone knows why this happens, and how I can fix this

This is kind of a PSA, I saw some people were having some crashes with this and that but I barely saw a mention regarding a crash with the juice bar which I encountered.

To be more specific I was consistently crashing by giving any amount of mana to a specific character (a rank 1 level 5k evil eye I'm using put all the evilities on), then exiting out of the juice bar. Adjusting other things, or for other characters worked perfectly fine.

While messing around trying to fix it I eventually managed to resolve it but I'm not sure what the fix actually was in the end because there were a couple different potential actions that could've done it: I converted an evility on the character to mana, p

I've been trying to search for more details on the mechanics of both the instanced and the custom houses but I'm not really finding much so I decided to just ask directly.

I'm thinking about things like how the instanced houses handle furniture, e.g. do the different floors interact, how much do the items in the different floors affect the comfort level in the other floor, items placed outside in the perimeter of the house. Also things like how the different specialties are handled with instanced housing, or how to supply food to the pokémon inside or if the only option is just manually placing down a container with food in it and refilling it occasionally.

Similarly for custom houses thin

I'm curious when people (at least the ones who don't just buy the newest consoles of their ecosystem at launch immediately) decide that it's now worth it to get a new console, whether moving to the new one in the same ecosystem or buying into a new one. What's the turning point when you go "okay now it's time to buy it"?

For background, I'm asking because I'm having trouble deciding whether I want to get a Switch 2 now or not so I'm hoping that others' thoughts can help me figure out mine. I always planned on buying a Switch 2 eventually but since I'm mostly a PC gamer who never goes anywhere I'd be buying it only for exclusives and I don't care about every exclusive either, so I planned

I've seen one or two places mention that there might be a way to dispatch people to do a wagon run with trade goods somewhere, but I'm not seeing it anywhere in game, and most places do seem to say that you can only drive the wagon to the destination yourself, so I wanted to ask if anyone does for sure know if it's possible (and how of course) or if it's just a mistake and there's no way to do it.

I feel like in the recent years when I actually hear about a more combat oriented pack I usually see a lot of people have a lot of actual criticism and reasons why the pack is actually not that great (so not just hating for the sake of hating on it), though it's probably at least partially because I'm not really looking into it a lot or anything, just talking about what I randomly encounter.

So in light of that I wanted to ask what packs people generally consider genuinely good packs that aren't tech focused (not that they don't have any tech, proper storage for example is very important)

So I tried setting up a draconic reactor and after some problems and messing around I eventually got it up and running and going fine with me slowly nudging output up and input down where I can. There's however 2 things that seem weird.

First, the field input rate is much higher than the power I'm pumping into the reactor despite the fact that the containment field strength is still rising constantly. If I increase the input power the stat increases as well so it's not like I can match it so I'm really not sure why this difference exists.

The second is that as I'm adjusting the input/output it goes from "perfectly fine with seemingly plenty of leeway" to instant meltdown over small increme

I was trying to find the formula for the how the upgrades change machine speed/energy consumption just to have an idea of how far I want to/can take it at different levels (which wasn't really lining up with what I was finding, but it is nearly 5 AM here so that doesn't help with comprehending things) and I noticed a weird thing: the energy upgrades beyond the 8th one seem to have no effect on the energy consumption anymore?

They increase the internal buffer, but the energy usage doesn't change as I'm installing/uninstalling energy upgrades (while keeping 8 installed). But because the speed upgrades do still increase it as expected the energy usage ramps up to ridiculous levels. Is this sup
