Hi everyone,

I’m in my early 20s and it looks like I will be physically intimate with someone for the first time in the near future. To be candid, I’m feeling a heavy wave of anxiety, nervousness, and self-doubt.

I care a lot about doing this right, making sure my partner feels safe and respected, and not letting pure panic run the show. I would especially love to hear from women or folks with more relationship experience on how to handle this gracefully:

Being honest about inexperience: What is a good way to communicate that I'm completely inexperienced without making the mood heavy, apologetic, or uncomfortable?

Managing physical tension: When anxiety causes you to overthink in the mom

Hey everyone,

I’m interested in learning from people who have experience dating across an age difference (particularly younger men with older women).

A lot of standard advice says "just be mature and confident," but that feels pretty vague. In practice, older partners usually have established routines, clear boundaries, and very little patience for games, ambiguity, or high-maintenance behavior.

For those who have made this dynamic work:

What concrete communication habits or behaviors actually signaled to an older partner that you were grounded and reliable?

What common mistakes or conversational traps do younger daters fall into that immediately turn people off?

Appreciate any practic

Hi everyone,

As a guy in his early twenties, I’m interested in hearing your honest perspectives on the dynamic between younger men and older women.

When you choose to date or spend time with someone younger, what are the most common ways younger men stumble in terms of maturity, communication, and emotional consistency? Conversely, what behaviors signal to you right away that a younger partner is grounded and genuinely worth your time?

I’m looking to understand the real-world dynamics and expectations from your side of things. Thank you for your insight.

I've spent a pretty big part of college isolated and, honestly, I got used to staying in my own head.

I'm trying to change that now.

I'm looking to talk to people from different places, ages and backgrounds. I don't have a strict checklist for what we should talk about. It could be everyday life, relationships, work, family, hobbies, stupid things that happened during the day, serious conversations, or complete nonsense.

I'm not naturally very talkative, especially at first, so I might be awkward or give terrible replies sometimes. I'm trying to get better at actually being present in conversations instead of constantly thinking about what I should say next.

I'm from India, 23M, currentl

I've been isolated for pretty much my whole college life. But now that I'm getting into the open world, I have to admit that I need help with conversations, personality, and many other parts of social life.

I'm open to any and every discussion topic, from common to gray.

I'm open to advice, honest feedback, different perspectives, or even just talking. And if you need help with something too, we can chat about that.

Basically, I'm looking for people I can actually talk to and learn from.
