Michael Wilson is making a generational WR prospect MHJ look like a bust

Parker Washington is making BTJ—-who had a near historic rookie season—-look like a bust

And Khalif Raymond—-a 32 year old journeyman who’s career high is 48 catches and 616 yards—-—-is on pace for 100 catches, 1000 yards, and is making two first round picks look expendable

What the hell is going on!?!

Well it’s time we accept where we are: every modern hot shot coach/OC who’s under 40 and had a cup of coffee with Sean Mcvay is trying to duplicate that system. And to properly copy the blueprint, they are blindly running it regardless of players on the field. So if it’s a random slot WR? He’s getting the ball.

Shout out to the post about the Michael Nig and mezzaluna facts. I was going to write a reply there but there’s a lot I want to write that goes in a different directio so I figured let me make a whole thread.

BLUF: OJ and some muscle went to scare’ Nicole over a drug debt, and things went left. The muscle kills Nicole and Ron

I’ve been researching this for years and watched quite a few docs. I’ll try to be brief. Bc this case was so big, most of these fascinating details are concrete proven fact, and were proven IN REAL TIME. It was just a lot of information to process pre-Internet (and we were like 5 years old). I will provide links, and on the few occasions where I am using unproven in

98% Snaps (3rd among WRs)

30% target share (10th)

ADOT 16.88 (> Christian Watson, Zay Flowers, Ladd, Coker….)

Air yards 135 (5th)

The numbers on Washington are fascinating. I expected the target share in a Wandale Robinson type of way, but the ADOT is eye opening. It shows he’s not just a dink and dunk guy. He’s getting looks down the field.

Air yards historically is one of if not the best stats that indicate meat left on the bones. Sooner or later that guy is gonna hit. Chris olave comes to mind. Last year the metrics said Olave was getting WR1 usage, but on field to start the season his yards totals were 54, 54, 57, 20, 59, and only 1 td…..then he took off. The numbers were proven rig

I just want to immortalize this take before tomorrow’s game, before everyone is scrambling to reassess. People what are we doing here!?!

Malik Willis’ ADP was QB20 or lower. In some drafts he may have even gone undrafted. Actually scratch that, per espn he went mostly undrafted bc he is only TWENTY percent owned. Willis is currently rate around the same range this week…..vs the raiders!

Ok let me calm down. Let’s talk about why I am so high on Willis

Rushing

Did they all of a sudden change the format for WB scoring?? Willis had the highest rush % we’ve seen in years. Typically what stops QBs from running is high grade weapons who you want to get the ball, and/or the qb/oc/coach n

Mark Cuban for sure but I’m sure there’s others

I feel a way. Everyone simply saying ‘oh ok yeah you were right.’ is not good enough. There were a lot of people throwing smut on his name as if he wasn’t speaking common sense open and shut facts

which makes you wonder how many people were compromised

Ready? Ok…All of this is allegedly

2Pac Quad:

Pac was lined up by Haitian Jack, Jimmy henchmen, and Pac’s then friend Stretch. With one of the shooters rumored to be Tut. With prior foreknowledge likely from Diddy and the artist Pac was there for, bad boy’s Little Shawn

Pac was tight with Tyson, who warned him not to associate with Jack. Tyson was tight with Jack, and Tut. More on Tyson in a sec, he will come up 2 more times

Stretch was killed a year to the day after Pac’s quad shooting. It’s debated if Pac called that. I believe he did, as someone who was with pac stated ‘we had a guy (gang member) out there (in queens, where Stretch was killed). When he (the guy) came back

That offense is NOT going to fail. SOMEONE is going to lead the charge. I’d wager a good amount of money that one of these things will happen on a ppg basis:

Mike Evans flirts with a WR1 finish

Deebo and/or Stribling finish as a top 25 WR

Kittle finishes as a TE1

Based on adp, I’d rank the values as:

1) Stribling. His adp may skyrocket after having 3 catches form Purdy on the first drive. But currrntly he’s a late or even last round pick. No brainer. Immense upside with 2 old guys and a TE coming off injury the only other comp

2) Kittle. I’ve seen him going in round 8. Ranked as TE8. Personally, I have him TE4. TE is one position that does not rely heavily on speed or even agi

Long story short she’s a psychiatrist and I’m a bit more old school and it just lead to us butting heads.

I’m a ‘let’s talk, what’s on your mind, no elephants in the room’ type. With her, everything turned into ‘I need to process that’ and ambiguous (imo) boundaries that centered a round her being private. We couldn’t have normal, what I consider healthy conversations. Anything she was going thru she had to ‘process’ on her own. Even to just say what she’s going thru—-workload, juggling a business, etc——so I can support, she wouldn’t say. Just ‘some things I’m going thru’. That and just general anxiety and constant need for reassurance

It came to a head a week ago. We had a huge blowup

It looks great on paper but with a team that clearly doesn’t need more offensive firepower, VJ will be best served as super 6th man rather than lost in the shuffle 5th starter.

Even thought they already have a super 6th man guard in Anfernee Simons, that’ll be ‘one of those good problems’.

They will be MUCH better off with Dean Wade’s versatility and shooting. (Or if they’re lucky, a more natural 3&D on free agency/trade).

My projected lineup and stats:

Maxey- 23ppg, 6apg
JB- 23ppg, 6rpg, 3apg
Bron- 18ppg, 7rpg, 7apg
Wade- 7ppg, 4rpg, 40% 3pt
Embiid- 25ppg, 8rpg, 50 games

Bench:

VJ- 16ppg, 6th man of the year
Simons- 11ppg
Bona, Edwards, Barlow

One thing I’ve learned is the avg fan (cough, casuals) have a REALLY hard time assessing skill/value in role players. People seem to think role players are bred specifically for that role and have a special set of skills that makes them special. Naaah not quite

The better your starting 5, the less you need your bench to do, so that’s where role players can shine.

Let’s look at the Knicks. If the Knicks didn’t just win a chip, no one would see a bench of Landry Shamet, Jordan Clarkson , Duece McBride, and Mitchell Robinson and say ‘yep, that’s a title winning bench’. All of those players at some point have been highlighted for glaring flaws, and in Clarkson’s case even derided as a ‘losing

Redditors love Frank Sabaka, so I don’t take this task slightly. However, I do take it confidently.

For this post I will assume I’m talking to high level watchers and ‘analysts’ of the show. Anybody can say they like the show and say the show is great. But this convo is for people who know WHY they like the show, WHY the show is great, and what the writers did to drive you to those 2 conclusions.

The wire has a pretty simple formula although it’s executed in a complex and beautiful way: they are going to show bad people doing good and good people doing bad. Duality. It creates the sort of mindfuck that makes for compelling, life altering, still watch it 20 years later TV. McNulty was a na

  1. People do not “hate” season 2.

We simply believe it’s not as good as the other seasons

David Simon created the best show of all time. Even the worst season of the goat show is going to be ‘good’ tv. It simply isn’t as good to the other amazing seasons

I think that’s important to point out bc people love to be contrarian, so when people think the talking point is ‘s2 is the worst season of tv ever’, it’s a natural instinct to overcorrect. And then all of a sudden they game of telephone it becomes ‘s2 is low key the best’ when really what they’re saying is ‘hey it’s not as bad as I thought’.

2. Important =/= Good

A common defense people have in defending season 2 is how im
