So basically all oceans, gulfs and seas would be in play. For bigger bodies of water like the Atlantic Ocean, you have to claim it by completing a location specific challenge in three of its coastal cities. For smaller ones like the Black Sea it could just be one city. Bigger would equate to maybe three points, while smaller would equate to one point and mid size could be two. Additionally, every city with challenges would have different challenges that range in difficulty. You can complete any of these challenges to help you claim the body of water, but the more difficult ones could have higher rewards, such as flight budgets and cards and curses. Additionally you wouldn’t be able to travel

I found a great room at a ryokan but it’s best price on relux. Though they seem to be asking for prefecture and are only in Japanese, so I’m wondering if the bookings are only for people live in Japan?

Japanese alps

Recommendations

Hi, we’re taking a road trip in the Japanese alps at the end of our japan trip in August. (The heat is fine as we’re from an even hotter place) The current route is Kanazawa (staying a night) to Shirakawa (staying a night at a gassho house) to takayama to Okuhida onsen (two nights) to Matsumoto (one night) and then to Nagano. We know we want to check out the kamikochi valley but otherwise would love recommendations of other cool or interesting stops on that trip we should know about. We are into cool towns, nature, food, and fun experiences. Thanks!

Hello, on our Japan trip we plan to go from Tokyo to hakone, where we are staying a night. Would it be bad to stop in Kamakura on the way? We probably will explore hakone more the next day anyways, but want to know if it’s really worth it to stop in Kamakura or it’s too much. Thanks
