Booked a flight like 4 months ago for a short guy's trip and concert. I checked in exactly at the moment it opened up. No seat assignment or boarding group, just says go to the gate. They just have an AI chat bot as their customer service that only says yeah go to the gate agent. So I gotta skip having breakfast in the lounge and wait in line with a bunch of other people who are there waiting for the same thing. Then as I'm waiting I get a message that says STANDBY ALERT we have a seat for you now. I didn't book standby, I bought a ticket months ago. Are they implying that if you buy a regular ticket that's actually just kind of a standby ticket? i

Edit - no, wasn't the office. He brings several different types of gifts and I think the last one he mentions is sugar free gummy bears
