Let me start by saying that I'm not a professional who works with videos, but I have lots of experience with photography and I developed a "clinical eye" which makes me pay lot of attention to the cinematoraphy of movies and show.
I guess many other people already expressed the same feel, but in recent years I've noticed that the cinemetography in movies and TV shows is getting worse and worse.

The latest offender was yesterday's episode of House of the Dragon.

I was looking at the dashboard yesterday when I noticed a gigantic spike in dropped requests: out of 170k+ total queries more than 156k were dropped.

Hi, I'm an amateur astronomer who had an idea for a little fun scientific project.

To do what I want to do I need to extract some data from some astrophotographs I'll take.

In particular, what I need is the catalogue name of a star + the X and Y pixel coordinates of the stars in the image. Note well, I need the PIXEL coordinates, I don't care about ra/dec or alt/az coordinates.

I need to also have the name of the stars because I will need to observe the change in position between various frames.

Is there a relatively simple way to automate the procedure?
I've seen that it's possible to do with Pixinsight, however what that program does is plate solve the image (which is good), then fro
