My two favorite builds. I made these maybe 20 years ago and I still have them today

reddit.comPower at my house was turned off for construction and now that the contractor pole is up, they need the power switched back on again. Construction is halted for the time being so I need to get it settled. Last week, it took four calls to get it shut off in the first place. Gas was turned off too. At one point, a rep told me there was no record of a crew coming out to my house, and I told him that he needs to call the police because there's someone with a fake PSE&G van and uniform who came out to my house, painted lines on my lawn and then stole my gas meter.
This is long but there’s a lot of upfront information to provide some background for the job I used to hold.
I worked for a county psychiatric emergency services unit for 8 years, many years ago. The unit was connected to a hospital so there were patients referred from the emergency department, but the primarily role of the unit was to evaluate patients in their homes, other hospitals, or jails and initiate the civil commitment process if certain legal criteria were met. The unit was open 24 hours per day, running shifts from 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am, for the most part. At various times, I worked on all three shifts, and I was very well known.
For me, the best part of t
You walk up to your "shuttle" to start your raid which seems to be tracks and then what happens? A spaghetti nest of tracks so you have no idea where you exit? Why would that be true? Forever Winter let you pick from possible entry points so at least you didn't risk starting a raid at the opposite side of the map. Helldivers also let you pick drop in sites. Prepping to for a mission or to go after certain Arc components to have to drag yourself across the countryside is exhausting
It would be nice if there was a "reverse engineer" skill that allowed you to disassemble weapons to learn to craft them. I would make it so that you'd have to disassemble several of the same weapon before you could learn it so that there was a real decision for each raider to either keep and use a found weapon or take it apart.
that's what I'd be wearing if I was raiding an area full of hostiles. Just sayin'
I wanted to learn Fusion 360 last winter. Having a project would keep me motivated so I figured I would design something for my Streetfighter. I’ve run my bike with stock wings, then carbon fiber wings and sometimes, no wings. I figured designing my own wings would be fun. This is a rough print to fine tune details. I threw some red vinyl wrap inside one side just to get a little contrast.

The tragedy of this condition is watching your loved one fade away. I've watched my father progressively disappear over the last two years. Over the weekend, I was helping my dad when he turned around, looked at me and then extended his hand and introduced himself to me. I'm a junior and we have a very uncommon last name. When I told him my name (same as his), he was so excited, commenting that he's never met another person with our last name. He wanted to know where I was born and grew up. I should him some pictures of him in his 30's and me as a kid and he did not recognize himself in the pictures (or me). I was ready for him to forget who I was since he often does not recognize my mom. I
This morning I was awoken by a call from my mother who sounded frantic. She (77) was bringing my father (82 but physically strong) to the pharmacy with her when he started walking towards a neighbor's house. He cannot be left alone because he will knock on neighbors' doors and go into their yards unannounced. Mom caught up to him and he became angry. He does not always recognize her. He refused to go back to the house with her. I fortunately live only a few minutes away. A police officer just happened to be driving down my street and I explained the situation and he followed me over just in case we needed an ambulance ( better safe than sorry). I was able to get my dad to go back inside even
