Yo guys 📘 In May–June 2024 I took my IGCSEs. I got 3 C’s, 4 D’s. I couldn’t retake earlier because I didn’t have an ID or passport. This year I ended up retaking Maths, Accounting, and also took Sociology since I didn’t want to redo my other hard subjects.

Exams felt alright. I thought I did good. But my AS results came out recently and I got 2 E’s and a U in Accounting, plus E’s in Economics and Business 📄. I haven’t told my family yet. I’m scared.

The anxiety this time feels different. Last year, my mom always said: “Brooklyn, this is your last chance. After this, there won’t be another.” I get that she was trying to motivate me through fear ✏️. But does that even work? Maybe short-term…
