Got into my first DnD game yesterday, playing as a smooth talking dwarf merchant who's a sorcerer on the side. His family is massive, a noble house that makes up one of the most powerful entrepreneurial empires in the world. Wanted him to be a little Tahm Kench or Benoit Blanc, southern twang and all, but ended up playing him as a Foghorn Leghorn/Grandpa Simpson chatterbox who fills every silence with nonsense. His favorite target is the Goliath barbarian, who is too soft spoken to tell him to shut up. The table seemed receptive, but I'm not great at improv, so I've been writing down some prompts and tangents to belt out at any opportunity, and I'm looking for more ideas.
Some examples...
