Hey Everyone,

Sorry if I've been under a rock lately ... are those cameras hanging from the MBTA in Quincy center ... every 15ft along the station platform?

Hey Proxers,

I have a heterogeneous env of GPUs, 2x RTX 6000 and a RTX A6000, the two non-Ada cards unfortunately have the reboot (needed) bug and freeze up requiring a host reboot afer a time.

What are some suggestions from the community on how to best use these cards until there is a driver fix?

My ideal goal is to use them w/ vLLM in stretch host mode.

Also, pleae correct me if I'm wrong but I would NOT be able to share the card with more than one LXC if I load the drivers on the host and just bind mount the device in lxc config?

Thanks for any tips-

Hey Homelabbers,

I was given some high-TDP cpus (AMD EPYC 7h12), now the age old question. Do I build around what I have or perhaps offload (on homelabsales) and choose something 'in the middle'?

Currently I have a 5 node proxmox system (and will keep 4 prox). Nodes 1-2-3 are aging DL380p with 2x e5-2430L v4 chips, ~256GB mem, and 7 HDD + 3 SSD that would be replaced by two new systems. Nodes 4-5 are lighter CWWK 'Demon Boards' with AMD 8845 (16 core) 64GB mem, 5HDD, 3SSD, 2nvme in some sliger 3u NAS cases.

I'd like to get into hosting my own ai models so the CWWK boards are not going to help here(?). I have my eye on some gigabyte MZ01-CE0 boards but I'm not sure how well the 7xx2 series

Hey Everyone,

Trying PB but having an issue -- I'm trying to make a small view to feed a dashboard and wanted PB to do some rudimentary math. Basically (col1*col2) AS "Multiplied Field".

I've verified col1 and col2 are both number types and I'm using some sample statements for SQLite in a new view setup panel but keep getting a non-specific error "Must be in a valid format." I'm not sure if it's referring to the statement itself or the cols ...

Any tips?

Hey Everyone,

I'm building some API clients for desktop (TUI) and just cannot decide on the best way to architect.

My current state is coding a pure client to upsream service as a go module and a wrapper that imports these modules in order to exercise business logic on top of.

An example is to use the wrapper to call the proxmoxve client to create a LXC and bootstrap it with an app then opnsense client passing in the lxc hostname and MAC to reserve an IP and set some standard firewall rule (based on vlan) then netbox client to describe the resources and networking. Each run starts at the wrapper which orchestrates calls to the client. My thought starting this was ... "I would just orche

Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to shove a nvidia rtx6000 in a chassis which has a power supply using the smaller type5 connector. The issue is the GPU doesn't have the key cutout for the +2, each power pin is separated.

Can I assume the key is just there for proper alignment and I can remove/shave it?

Hey Everyone,

As the title suggests I have too much bitrot on my ceph pools. I have two pools, HDD-only and SSD-only at standard 3x replicated. The issue I'm seeing are the files are being corrupted and about 1x/2mo I see a folder name as about 8 characters of random text.

I'd like to know what folks have had success with in terms of increasing reliability of identifying bad bits and fixing. I have alerting of SMART issue through mail and that's working.

Hey Everyone,

With recent news that certain institutes would try to unmask Wikipedia contributors by cookie trail I was wondering about the viability of poisoning the cookie pool.

For all the webdevs that are privacy conscious out there, is it possible to have a plugin that will flip bits/strings in a cookie etc?

Hey Everyone, I have some Yealink VOIP phones that support a push/webhook style notification. There are ~ 45 different event types that the phone would send a configurable alert out - phone-off-hook, phone-ip-change, incoming-call, outgoing-call, etc etc.

In the absence of a real integration I'm trying to create a NodeRed workflow that listens over HTTP for an incoming message and then will convert and enrich the message before sending it to Hass.

The GET request has format http(s)://<server>:<port>/?event-type=<type>&ip=$IP&phone_id=<phone-uniq-id>&remote=$remote

where some of those are vars ($remote, $ip) and some are static strings I can insert for me own convenience (support multiple

Hey Everyone,

On updating to A14 I'm having issues with mms and certs - hoping someone has seen and solved these.

With MMS if I try to send I get error code 104, which doesn't have a specific resolution but I've noticed that I do receive them ONLY on boot and it seem when I specifically start to negiotiate my cxn speed. When I am on GPRS I get the missing ones, once I get to LTE I get the error code. Curiously, if I'm in a really bad reception area and am running on GPRS for a while I can send. Attaching an image to upgrade to MMS kinda sorta worked but then didn't and I can't detect a pattern. AFAIK I have all the correct settings for T-Mobile SMS but I can certainly drop these into a

Hi @Nim,

Looking to get some tips to get httpclient working. Originally I had an issue with an on-prem server and some server config issue and since made a small poc client against baddssl.com

The findings are that even using CVerifyNone more than half of the 'hosts' at badssl still fail to connect with ssl errors.

Can someone share a way to really ignore SSL hiccups? The host I really care about is using a valid cert that happens to have something that only httpclient / std net cares about (curl is fine).

Hey Everyone,

I'm getting a crash while compiling but not sure if it's me ... or I need to go make a bug report. Can someone give advise? :/
