I've recently started trying to play this game ranked, as of a little over a month ago. I've played unranked on and off (and MOBAs in general) for about 10 years, so I'm certainly familiar with the heroes and their mechanics, and I've been learning, practicing, and applying new techniques as well. I'm currently wavering around the middle/higher end of Herald.

It was actually going very well. As a support/hard support main, I learned how to stack efficiently, where to ward and deward, and generally how to position myself better in teamfights. Although it wasn't much, it was there. I put myself in a good set, laid down in total darkness, and closed my eyes with background music. Eventually, as I let myself into it, I was actually able to wilfully conjure a few simple images. I remember thinking of a triangle, and through the strange light show, seeing a faint outline. I also tried with a circle, square, and even a 3D pyramid shape. Then I saw some dots, and I could change their colour to whatever I wanted, with surprising clarity.
