I’ll keep this short. Between 21 and 27 I saved probably 70% of my income. Pushed my NW from a $50k inheritance my grandpa gave me up to $400k in a span of 6 years while making anywhere from $50k to $130k at the peak. I had a (poorly planned) child at 28, and my entire finances have gone to shit. Between the house($70k DP), the cars(about $70k depreciated to $30k instead of growing to $100k, not to mention maintenance costs), the travel costs ($15-$20k a year to go to family or bring family over) and just general lifestyle creep(eating out almost daily for 3 people instead of 1), I’ve only added about $60k to my NW in the last 4 years. I know it’s not terrible by any means, but considering I

So I started the game, put both points in persuasion thinking I'll just use my smooth moves on everyone. It didn't work on Kunesh, so I tried to grab him from the back thinking it would knock him out but ended up with a brawl instead. After struggling with the controls for a bit I managed to beat him but I let him go after disarming him(even though he wasn't armed?) and he just ran off. I have no idea where tf he ran off to so I went to the bar and did the Deutsch mini quest. After running off with the boys, I decided to go back to Kunesh's house and found him sleeping with the door open, so I knocked him out and stole the axe. I then went back to dad cause the axe was stolen but he didn't w

$330 OBO for everything, can meet around the World Trade Center station or in one of the NJ PATH stations across the river.

I got the 9800x3d this past weekend and replaced all these components in my build, so I don’t have a use for them any longer. I purchased everything around 3 years ago from a combination of B&H and Amazon. Will be packing it all in the B550 box, but don’t have the original box for CPU or RAM.

Long story short, I convinced the guy I bought my T3 towers from to give me his AVR for free after he said it wasn't that good and he was probably going to replace it. That was almost 4 years ago, and I'm still using it. It has ARC, Audyssey, and a Spotify app that lets me use it to play music for the house. The UI looks like it was designed by a 90 year old engineer but other than that it seems to do what I need it to. What would I be getting if I upgraded to the S760H? We just moved to a new place so I'm considering making the upgrade but I'm honestly not sure what I'd be getting.

In an effort to save money and reduce packaging waste, I’ve started buying larger cuts of meat. Think whole chickens, whole ducks, 15lb slabs of brisket. As a result, my cooking produces a lot of animal fat. I always see tips on using bacon grease to replace cooking oils but I don’t think we’re talking about the same volume. If I cook brisket once, I can usually fill up a quart container and some change. It is way more oil than we use in cooking anything. I think one 15lb brisket yields the same amount of fat as 3-4 packs of bacon. I’ve been cooking everything in this fat but I still end up throwing away a ton of it. Would love some suggestions on what I could do with it.

I took my daughter to one of those massive food/sports compounds over the weekend that had a playground. I went with my friend who also has kids, one of whom is 2 years older than mine and usually helps her out when she’s around older kids at the playground. Everything was fine for an hour or so, and even though my daughter was one of the youngest ones there, she didn’t have any trouble other than waiting for kids who block staircases and slides.

All of a sudden this kid about twice her size(probably 4 or 5) comes up out of nowhere while she’s at the top of the slide and shoved her down without warning and laughed. I fucking snapped, grabbed my crying daughter, went up to the kid, yelled “
