This sort of goes back to the question of Dexterity being a crutch perk. I feel like I can't run around without Ninja in competitive lobbies.

Ninja is the only way for me to get around the map, and without using it, I can definitely hear footsteps from far away.

Should the footstep audio be lowered more, like 30%?

I do feel like it could go a long way in no longer feeling the need to use Ninja.

I don't play Zombies much, but I love how fast-paced Starting Room can be. When they advertised Starting Room IIRC they said it was back "by popular demand" and it seemed interesting, but I didn't see the point of it. However, after playing it, it's really great. It's like a much faster survival map.

Which is perfect because I don't want to spend 2 hours playing Zombies and Starting Room is almost perfect for that, especially Astra Malorum, because there's not a Pack-a-Punch or Der Wunderfizz machine there.

The only thing I don't like is that players can use Gobble Gums to make the survival map take way too long to play, and have the option to use or not use the Rampage Inducer.

I can't login on PC with the Xbox app. I launch the game and it gets stuck on the black loading screen saying "Not signed into profile" at the top left. This typically happens when there's a server issue, but I checked Xbox's server status webpage, and they say everything's fine. So I don't know.

If I knew they'd pull this I wouldn't have bought this game.

They advertised Open Matchmaking would be the DEFAULT matchmaking for BO7 it's NOT DEFAULT, the DEFAULT seems like Standard (which is really Closed) Matchmaking

They need to change the name of the Standard Moshpit to the Closed Moshpit, move it to the bottom of the featured playlist, and move the (open) Season 1 Moshpit to the top of the featured playlist to make it the DEFAULT like they said. OR even better GET RID of the Standard (really the Closed) Matchmaking playlists in public matches.

Open matchmaking is the only way I want to play objective game modes because objective modes have lots of try

Charlie Olson a former COD dev who created the Casual MMR system explained his best guess for why it feels sweatier in BO7. You can search The Dark Art of SBMM in Youtube to find it.

But TL;DR The reason BO7 feels sweatier is because at launch they added in persistent lobbies which are keeping casuals in your skill bracket in a lobby you can't reach leading to matching with sweats more often. The SBMM is most likely NOT cranked up.

The best solution for everyone is to push for the removal of persistent lobbies in all modes expect S&D or at the very least push for some weeks without persistent lobbies in all modes expect S&D.

I think the fall of COD started with MWII (2022) with how terrible it was, then those players started playing BO6 and it became terrible at the end of its lifecycle, they became fed up and now they could only play BF6.

The issue is the best COD game at the end of its lifecycle so far is MWIII (2023) and now it seems like BO7 will be the next best COD game, possibly ever I'd really like to see this game succeed and see people enjoy it my question is why won't you play the game?
