Hi!
Is the market this bad?
I interned 2x at snowflake, 2x at amazon and I also have Jane street FTTP on my resume…
I started applying for new grad job and didn’t get a single call back.
Is this how the market is now or they just take their sweet time?
(Im from a random canadian school)

Hi!
I just secured a unit in Vancouver to move in and I sent the security deposit and last months rent.
I only move in on September first (when I’ll need to pay the first month).
After I transferred the money, i checked on reddit and apparently it’s illegal to ask for the last month.
Should i ask for it to be sent back? What are my options?
Hi everyone!
25m, I’m trying to figure out what’s the best for me.
I’m moving to Vancouver for my first new grad job and I have trouble deciding between renting and buying.
I make 170k a year, and I can put down 100k as a deposit on a property.
I don’t know if I should buy something (around 400-500k) in Vancouver or just rent for around 2400 a month.
I don’t plan on staying in Vancouver too long, maybe 3-4 years that’s why I’m hesitant on buying, but I think I can easily rent it to someone if I end up moving after 3-4 years.
Anyone in a similar situation to me can enlighten me?
Thanks!!
Hi!
Anyone familiar with the app and how the World Cup tickets work can help me out?
I just tried to buy a train ticket for the game tomorrow but every time I entered my info, it told me there was an error in processing my payment.
After 4 tries I gave up and decided on driving there.
The issue is that 10 minutes later I receive a notification from my bank telling me that 4 payments fro MBTA just went through…
I checked my bank, the payment went through (4 times) but I don’t see the tickets in the app for some reason.
Also how would I go about getting a refund?l for the three extra tickets😭
Thanks!!
Hi, I really want to buy some tickets for tomorrow but wondering if the tickets will be cheaper if I wait, anyone have previous experience with centre bell?
Thanks!

Hi!
I’m going to the states soon for my internship, if I open a US account with WS, will my employer be able to deposit money to it? Or do I need to go through a traditional bank to set up the deposit.
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m Canadian, I’m about to head to the states on a J1 visa next week (I got all the papers with me).
I was wondering if I can encounter any problem if my friend (Canadian but not on j1) drive me to Seattle.
She will stay with me for a couple days then head back to Vancouver with her car.
Thanks!
Hi!
Canadian here, will be in Seattle for 4 months starting January.
I will work out of Bellevue (spring district station). I didn’t find any interesting rent in Bellevue, the rent is way too high and the amenities aren’t interesting for the price.
I decided to get an apartment in Seattle and I wanted to ask people who commute to Bellevue on a daily basis about the transit time and what neighborhoods I should look for an apartment (to facilitate transit and also have a nice condo)
My budget is approximately 3.5K USD (+- 500$).
Thanks for anyone who can point me in the right direction!
Hi everyone!
I’m a Canadian student and landed an internship in the states for this upcoming winter. My company started the visa process a couple days ago, I submitted all my docs to the law firm that takes care of sending it to the sponsorship company (AIC).
One of the document that I submitted was my proof of enrolment, on that letter, it says that I’m a part time student (which I am).
After sending the docs, I made some research on the J1 visa requirements and it says that I need to be a full time student while applying for the visa. Is there any exception to this rule?
I do have a letter from the office of student with disabilities that states that due to my medical conditions I sho
