I have seen some job posting that look interesting for someone with my background (regulatory attorney finishing up an analytics masters). What I amm confused by is how technical the job generally is. Is this a job that will require a decent amount of working with code? Or is just another layer of review, policy and procedures, and approving use of private info for products/use?

As a ‘13 graduate of law school, I remember the consensus being that starting in-house base was equal to about a 3rd year associate on the cravath scale (165 or 185?). It feels like starting (much less third year) has not kept up with the raises? Am I off or do others feel the same?

I am having an issue figuring out how to get the backup cam working on an RCD330 I installed in my 2015 VW Jetta.

I purchased the linked CRTVW01 harness (https://www.crutchfield.com/S-EyX4qJfYRtx/p_142CRTVW01/Scosche-CRTVW01-Backup-Camera-Harness.html). But I am struggling to figure out where to connect the wires. For anyone who has done this, do I need to run wires out to camera in the trunk or two the fuses under the steering wheel? Or do I need to splice the wires into the factory CANBUS? Is there an easier harness that is more plug and play I can use?

Just finished reading the series. They mentioned Silo 1 had a algorithm ranking different silos with the number 1 ranked silo getting to live and repopulate the earth. Did the books ever explain what contributed to the rankings? Or what Thurman wanted to mold humanity into to prevent another nanobot threat and why the silo system worked to achieve that mold?

I am at a firrea agency that matches 8% of my TSP contribution. I am also on the 4.4% FERS contribution plan/system. I am trying to war game some financial scenarios to figure out my career and how to pay for college for my twins. I now have a couple of questions:

A) How do people usually incorporate FERS into the retirement savings calculation to determine what % to contribute to their TSP. In industry, I would make sure I was contributing 15% with the match. Here I am doing 16% (8% me and 8% match), so as not to leave free money on the table. Does it make sense to lower my match given I am also paying 4.4% into FERS?

I was ready to pull the trigger on the M15 R4 with the 3070, when I noticed the X15. It seems the biggest different is that the X15 will come with the 11th gen intel i7 and be a little thinner. Some other minor differences are that the X15 will be using a new thermal paste/cooling system that enabled the thinner design and keep the laptop cool. The X15 will also be about $600 more.
