I am considering the environmental implications of dog food. Studies indicate that dogs have an outsized contribution to carbon emissions, compared to humans. However, it appears that the majority of dog food (the non human grade stuff) is offal from meat production.
Anyone know of any research that discusses this? I am wondering if anyone has any statistics about what percentage of meat production is a direct result of the dog food industry vs a byproduct and how this impacts our understanding of the environmental impact.
Please comment any other literature reviews or studies that have relevant information, I would love to read them.
Hello! I’m looking for somewhere in SE where I can vacuum out my car where there isn’t a 5 minute limit, like I’m seeing at most of the places around here. If anyone has any leads, I would really appreciate it!
This call was repeated, no other types of calls. It was in a tree and I couldn’t spot it, so I think it was on the smaller side.
