My sides and about half my beard went grey a few years ago, and I've been looking for a product to deal with it.

Ive tried one or two options in the men's self care sections but they are very opaque and almost blue black. Look pretty ridiculous. I have very dark brown hair naturally, so something that'd work well with that.

I know my options are limited, so I'm happy to import something from Amazon or one of the international pharmacies if you guys have suggestions.

So I did one door with this product, wiping off the oil pretty much within 2 or 3 minutes after I laid it down. Came out alright, but a little mottled in spots -- probably because the wood is cedar or pine.

Anyway, to fix the mottling issue on the second door, I decided to read the can instructions this time (lol). The can says specifically to NOT wipe off.

Well, I did that, and it looks pretty horrible. It's rather opaque, and looks more like a smeary brown paint than a penetrating stain.

I kind of wish I'd just followed my gut and done the same thing I did on the first door.

Would it be a disaster at this point to use mineral spirits to wipe down the second door to remove excess? It

I want several lines of text generated and shown at the same time, with words highlighting automatically as they're said. Like this: Example

I have a dog.

His name is Max.

My dog is big.

My dog is brown.

However, I can't get the auto-generating captions to show more than one line at a time. I've tried splitting the subtitles and stacking them on top of each other in the timeline, but the timings obviously go out of whack.

Is there any way to do what I want? I know there are labor extensive work-arounds (making an extra non-animated layer of the whole text underneath) but I'm hoping to streamline this as much as possib

Long story short, the west-facing dirt crawlspace of this house turned into a lake last week after some moderately heavy rain. Since the floor joists and girders are completely rotted, I assume that this has been happening for years.

One problem I quickly fixed was a broken gutter spout that was DUMPING roof water into the crawlspace. I'm pretty sure this was the main culprit because it was a ludicrous amount of water coming out lol. However, I believe the poor drainage around the house is also an issue that needs fixing.

・The house sits next to a steep slope on the west side. Between the slope and the house is a 17-20cm deep concrete trench,

This?

I just bought an old empty house across the street from me, and most of the downstairs walls are covered in this material. It looks hard to the touch and I thought it was 土壁 at first, but its almost spongy and can be picked off like little bits of foam. Almost like it's some sort of insulation material.

I've never seen it before, so I was wondering if anyone knew what it was.

We run homestay programs to Cairns and we've always used charter busses in the past to get to places outside the city. However, this time around we're thinking of using a public bus to get us and our kids to Trinity Beach for the day.

Would 2 teachers and 14 kids be a problem? We're thinking of hopping on at the first stop to guarantee seats. Worse comes to worse I suppose we can split into two smaller groups, but the busses seem to come once an hour so it wouldn't be ideal.

For the last three years my wife and I have been building our brand in rural Kyushu. We teach every class together and have opened three locations that we go to on different days. We started with like four kids and we're up to seventy now.

IMO we have been wildly successful in achieving our initial goals, but we are about to hit the ceiling of how much we can handle on our own.

I think the next natural step is to start finding hired help, but management skills aren't in either of our wheelhouse. On top of that we are very protective of the type of vibe we've been nurturing in our classrooms. I wouldn't know where to begin in finding others to rely on..

I'm looking for the perspectiv

Background:

A while ago, my table freed an Aboleth that had been imprisoned for centuries by Duergar in an underground mine. Freeing the Aboleth caused enough chaos to ensure that the party was able to escape safely to the surface world, but we have often talked since about the horrible future ramifications of letting that kind of beast go free.

Since we're not really returning to that area within the scope of our current campaign, I wanted to run a One-shot that sheds some light onto what would have unfolded after they left.

I thought it'd be cool to be make it some sort of "escape" scenario. I'm thinking they could take control of some goblins or kobold (or orc or troll or whatever)

I kept seeing posts online about Serpenphare, but a lot of the info is incomplete or wrong or vague. Maybe I'm super late to the party by this point, but I thought I'd share:

First, it's important to know the main mechanics of the fight:

  1. Serpenphare chooses its attacks based on how much AP it absorbs each round. If it absorbs ~15+ AP, it'll explode and deal about 10% damage to itself and high damage to the party. If it absorbs less than 15AP, it'll do other attacks or give itself shields instead.

  2. If you parry its explosion, it will Break, and its next attack after recovering will be an AP Vacuum again.

Knowing those two things, the goal is to make sure you feed it 15+ AP every si

I'm really curious what this is. I think it's ceramic. It's very heavy for its size, weathered, and has a kind of patina to it. Has a symbol carved into it. Looks really old.

Location is Saga, Japan -- up in the mountains of an area known for historical places of interest. Stone work and ceramics are a pretty big thing around here.

The bamboo forest I dug it up in was a field (presumably used for farming) up until about 15 years ago, so I guess it makes it a little unlikely this is an artifact. I think it looks like an old mortar & pestle mortar, but I suppose it could just as easily be some kids' art project that got tossed away at some poi
