I'm wondering if anyone has any input on the best/fastest way to melt the ice at an outdoor rink. Our season just ended and we have a tight deadline to meet. I'm mostly wondering if it is best to help the water drain as fast as possible, or to let it sit and soak on the surface of the ice as long as possible. Any other methods/recommendations would also be very appreciated.

The chiller system will be turned off at 6am, and we'll have pretty warm weather the same day that is turned off. After that, the temp drops to about 45-50 every day until our deadline. I'm think we'll spray hot water evenly across the whole surface of the rink during the day while the sun is out, but I wasn't sure i

My girlfriend's mom just passed away in the ICU after a week on life support due to liver/kidney failure and a couple other smaller issues. She is very poor, didnt have any insurance or a house or anything really, she was mostly supported by her boyfriend that she lived with for years (abusive asshole). My girlfriend hadn't talked much to her in years due to some falling out but we flew out here when we heard she was on her death bed. The patient's mother and other daughter came as well. The patient has been living in New Jersey for years, the rest of the family is spread across the country.

My main question is basically just the title. We're worried we will end up stuck with medical bills

During his campaign Trump made a lot of promises and there were quite a few he went back on. This is a problem that we have seen on a minor scale for years but it now seems like we need some kind of safeguards in place to make sure something as ludicrous as this doesn't happen again.

I saw nothing about this on the platform and felt that this is something that may need a little more focus. It isnt a partisan idea considering no one should believe politicians should lie to the people theyre going to represent, so isnt it more about reinforcing the integrity of our government and therefore a critical point?

Just wanted to open a dialogue and see what some of the other opinions are.

I've been doing some research into whether or not a Raspberry Pi would be strong enough to handle finding, downloading, and streaming all at once. So far I've found people saying that this is possible, but even with the RPi 3 it won't be able to transcode or do 1080p.

I've already gotten all of these programs up and running on a spare laptop I have, but this uses up a lot of power and it's really big for what I use it for. I also have set up Rasplex on an RPi 2 so I have some experience with RPi's, but not a ton.

Ideally, I would like to put all of this (except Rasplex, I'll use my Xbox/phone/computer as clients) on a single RPi. Since this does not seem to be possible, is there a way
