It's been a while since I played that game and I read they might change(d) it.

But how it would work is that if e.g. xpac content would be added, it uses a separate character level, talent, and gear system. Whenever you're in vanilla continents (EK+Kalim) you have your standard level cap of 60 and vanilla gear.

But once you go into e.g. Outland, your character level is set to 1 and your gear changes to your empty starter gear. Quests will need to be updated from 1 to 70 instead of 58 to 70 ofc.

Once you visit vanilla zones again, you will transform back into your (max) level 60 character with the gear you had then. So it doesn't invalidate old content, since you can still progress in it.

Hello everyone,

To those who might not be on Discord, we just started our annual Game Jam. 1 week of registrations, followed by 3 weeks of building, then 1 week of playtesting and voting. This year's jam (like last year) is collaborated with Couch Cat Gaming

If you're looking to start playing fresh browser games in the coming weeks, or even want to develop something new of your own with a (to-be-soon-revealed) theme constraint, come join the fun!

Discord link is in the sidebar (or somewhere under more info on mobile).

Hey all,

The past year or so I've been working on a homebrew EDH subformat for our playgroup called Secret Kingdoms. It's inspired by other homebrew formats of the same name, and also especially the Advanced Kingdoms thread by u/wargunner.

It's a multiplayer variant for 5-9 player EDH, inspired by games like BANG!, Werewolves of Miller's Hollow, where before the game each player gets a role card (consisting of King, Knight, Assassin, Bandit, Renegade) face-down, with their own wincon and (for advanced roles) thematic gameplay effects.

After lots of playtesting at our pod, iterations and tweaks

I'm curious, when do you peeps typically start RHC after Energy (or Fat Burner)? It's on the beginner schedule a few weeks from now, but I want to get acquainted with it.

Do you complete the whole Energy video first, including cooldown, including spin-the-weel for those of us on the app etc, before booting up RHC?

Or do you stop the Energy workout at a certain point (eg at "now we're going down to the mat" as DDP mentions in S40, or after Broken Table maybe before diving into the cooldown), before jumping into RHC?

Even managed to sneak in an extra RHC on Tuesday, helped my partner with Chair Force I on Wednesday, and got tortured by Synergy 40 on Saturday.

Good gawd that last one was brutal! Looking forward to owning S40 and doing that one multiple times a week (eventually, eventually).

If you're (re)starting DDP as NYR like me, don't give up now! We're all gonna make it! Don't forget to do it today and tomorrow! BANG!
