Hey guys, I’m a new driver with less than 3 months experience and I’m kinda stuck between two options.
Current job:
Beverage delivery
$28/hr starting
$30/hr after 6 months
Usually less than 60 hours a week
Good benefits + PTO
Seems pretty stable
Possible UPS job:
$23/hr starting
$24/hr after 1 year
$25/hr after 2 years
$30/hr after 3 years
Top rate currently around $42/hr
Free healthcare
Pension
Union
The big thing holding me back is the possibility of layoffs with UPS, especially being a newer guy.
I’d basically be taking a pretty big pay cut now for the chance at better money and a pension down the road.
What would you guys do?
Stay where I’m

Anyone from local 519? I had a interview for a tractor trailer driver/ dockworker and wanted some insight

I got a call from a recruiter about a tractor-trailer driver position in the Knoxville area. The starting pay is $23/hour, but the schedule is all over the place. Does anyone know what the raises typically look like and how long it takes to reach top pay?
I currently make 28$ as a delivery driver for a beverage company

Has anyone had any luck finding these medications in stock?

CVS has been no help. They asked my doctor to prescribe a different medication, only to turn around and say they don’t know when they’ll have that one available either.

I was originally trying to get Mydayis, and then switched to Vyvanse, but now neither seems to be available.

Any suggestions on pharmacies that have had better luck keeping them in stock?

Getting my CDL by the end of the month.
I’ve heard the beginning can be rough, but are there any carriers that are at least decent when it comes to pay and treatment for new drivers?

Help us raise the funds needed to adopt the two children we’ve loved and cared for since they were born ❤️

Peyton turns 5 this Saturday April 11th, and Emma turns 3 on November 23rd. They are siblings and have grown up together in our home, the only home they’ve ever known.

We recently learned the adoption will likely be contested, and we’re preparing for the legal process ahead. We’re asking for any support possible to help us give them a permanent, secure future and keep them together in the home they’ve always known.

Thank you so much for any support or shares ❤️

Has anyone ordered here recently and had a good experience?

Even with their fees I’m able to get a year supply of toric xr for 260ish after filing claim through my insurance.

Today is my first day wearing contact lenses, and honestly, it’s a relief not having to deal with glasses anymore. That said, I do have a couple of questions.

Is it normal to go from a −3.75 cylinder in glasses to a −2.75 cylinder in contacts? I’m wearing Biofinity XR toric lenses, and I wasn’t sure if that kind of change is typical.

Also, how long does it usually take to fully adjust to contacts? I’ve noticed that I’m refocusing quite a bit, almost like my eyes are still trying to figure things out.

Hello all, I bought a house last December. The filter had been sucked into the unit, and when I replaced it, the new filter bowed really badly. After doing some research, I decided to upgrade to a 4-inch Honeywell media cleaner.

Now my unit is leaking a small amount of water. I checked the drain and verified it’s clear. Should I remove the 4-inch filter, or would a restriction issue have shown up sooner if that were the problem?
