Hey friends!

The Blizzcon panel said that we're no longer doing distinct servers, but just split among the 4 different game modes into what are, we assume, basically megaservers.

I think that's a good thing overall. But something occurred to me. Currently, when you roll on a PvP server, all your toons have to be the same faction, per server. This is to prevent using a x-faction toon as a spy, etc.

But if there's only one PvP "server"... does that mean that, once you roll your first PvP toon, you're locked to that faction forever?

Anyone heard anything on this?

Hello Sysadmin crew!

Since MDT has been fully deprecated, I'm looking for a good new way to image our machines. I've seen a fair amount of discussion on this, but I don't feel like I have a clean answer, so I'm hoping for a little hand-holding.

Need the process to:

  1. Install Windows (ideally pull the latest build automatically, but it's okay if I have to babysit the .iso)
  2. Install computer's standard drivers
  3. Join our domain
  4. Disable default admin
  5. Install some software

Considerations:

  • We don't have access to Intune
  • USB flash drive or PXE are both fine
  • Needs to be free or cheap
  • Our fleet is ~100 endpoints at main office, although it looks like I might have to start hel

She will be working downtown near the courthouse. I'll be staying at home with the 3-year-old. We each have a car.

• Our budget for monthly rent will be ~2k.

• I really don't want her to have to do the Dallas highway commute, so ideally she could take public transit, walk, or maybe just drive through the downtown streets.

• Somewhere friendly to a small child and a small dog. Ideally, somewhere I could easily take the little one to museums, splash pads, etc. etc.

I'm starting to fear this is a "pick 2" situation, but I'm hoping for some good recommendations. We're open to apartments or houses.

For those unaware, Outlook's latest update broke the ability to remove individual entries from the autocomplete list/Suggested People. As far as I know, you're unable to do so in New Outlook or OWA, either. https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/deleting-autocomplete-entries/

Previously, a user could click a little x to remove a suggested address. These were pulled from recent senders and recipients, etc. They do not exist in your Contacts folder.

We have a situation where there are many stale email addresses in user's autocomplete now, after a big email address restructuring. What are my options for getting rid of these stale

Hello friends, pretty low-level question from a generalist here, thanks in advance for holding my hand.

I've been at my company for a little over a year. We have an MX85 as our firewall at my branch, and it also has VLANs defined on it, plus a few site-to-site VPNs (4 to other MXs in a mesh, plus 2 non-Meraki tunnels), and is the client VPN concentrator. Typical MX edge device stuff.

For whatever reason, back when my senior was junior to the old guy, they put this MX behind their existing Cisco 4331. The Cisco is essentially just doing WAN routing. My senior wants to keep it this way because he "doesn't want to overload the Meraki". I think he's just afraid to make any changes.

Assuming that 1GP = 1XP, and you want each level of the megadungeon to roughly equate to a character level, how much gold would you actually scatter around? We're assuming that the characters aren't going to explore every nook and cranny of every level, so there should obviously be extra.

If you assume 300XP gets you from level 1 to level 2, how much gold are you putting on the first level of your megadungeon?
