For the time i've been in this comunity I've seen, every one or two months, the discussion about selfishness (specially surrounding Homura) and selflessness (specially surrounding Madoka) not only painting those two as their main characteristics but also claiming those are the feellings they portray and carry trough their appearance in the anime and rebelion. This not only is a poor sign of reading comprehension but also harmfull, specially in the way that is put out to be, as if Homura is evil for being selfish while Madoka is good for being selfless.
Please, I beg of you, STOP PUTTING THOSE ACTIONS BASED UPPON FEELLINGS INTO BLACK AND WHITE BOXES, those are

MadoKami has experienced thousands of years of being a deity to magical girls, but do we have any objective answer to their experienced years of life ?
Homucifer reedid the universe the same as Madokami so would both of them have lived those years (Homura picked Kyubeei to use him in helping her to rebuild the universe, implying at least some time had passed), so do they both just experience these thousand to billions of years, or do they simply wish for their power to do something and then their consiousness is transfered to the future ?
Honestly I think they did not really tought of that and I am just focusing on something that does not matter.

Homura is a masochist, but wont tell Madoka because she doesnt want to force Madoka to do anything to her. So she starts to do small bad things so Madoka scolds her and thats how she gets off on her masochism.

I like the fact that in most depictions of MadoHomu is clear that Madoka is the one that decides everything even if it is having Homura to decide something, but I think that I never see any depiction of that being developed.
It's such a rich space to be shown on how Madoka would begin lost depending on wich version of Homura she sees. Moemura for example is a easy dinamic since it is shown how Madoka leads her everywhere, but then a further developed Homura (that is decisive and leaves Madoka in a more passive hole in the anime) blurs that ""bottom"" personality of Homura, since she only does that because she is "locked in" to save Madoka, but it would make Madoka not be prepared to be the
