So I understand some providers (AMEX) only allow one bonus per lifetime per card category, where others, like chase, have a time limit, last time I saw it was somewhere around once every 5 years or so.

Anyone have any idea how it works with Barclays JB Premier? for folks that have existing? I tried to GPT it and it says best is to cancel the plus wait a few cycles and then apply for the new one

I've made pho a few times now and have recently started making bigger and bigger batches (20qt+) at home. Almost everyone says you need to parboil/blanch the bones and meat prior to, even my mother said that's how it's usually done, but there's been times where she skipped this step in the past but then has mentioned you need to do a lot more skimming afterwards.

I have NEVER done this in any of my batches... but then again I haven't used traditional bones (knee? and other parts) either..

On the same note, I also can't remember the last time my pho wasn't full of flavor.. and as much pho as we eat at home due to the big batches we usually try to find pho places when traveling (a few time

Planning to get this one https://www.skil.com/10inch-dual-bevel-sliding-miter-saw-ms6305-00/, but if someone knows of a smaller or more compact 10" that will definitely fit without disassembling please let me know

Amazon spec dimensions says it's: 35.43"L x 22.44"W x 14.17"H which is over the 62" linear baggage allowance, but I am not sure if this is the actual saw dimensions or the packaging dimension

Looking at unboxing videos it appears to be the packaging, but even when they take it out of the box when it's folded down it still might be too "tall?" and wide to fit

Looked at the manual but there wasn't much help there, but looking at the parts list https://www.skil.com/mpattachment

So I asked GPT this and it said no but not sure it's calculating this correctly. Basically live out of the US, it's around 40% import duties to bring a moto here so let's say an OTD grom will be around $4k and after shipping and duties it's going to be around 7-8k to get here. Now I travel frequently to the states and have 2 checked bags I can always bring back...

with that said, if a grom is broken out into individual parts will it be able to fit into 62 linear inches (length + width + height) of luggages? think my only real concern here is the frame? does anyone have these measurements?

I understand there is a Roaming plan, but from my understanding it can only be used for 2 months internationally correct? How are people using it outside of their normal billing address for longer? or are they going back every 2 months to renew?

I also saw somewhere the Roaming is technically only "Countrywide" so if I wanted to bring it abroad with me to the Caribbean for longer than 2 months that would not be possible right? or would this be something that is included in the Unlimited Roaming?

so i'm finally able to get 60+ FPS consistently (even though i have the frame rate limit on) i have

Frame Gen = AMD FSR-FG,

Method = AMD FSR 3.1

Quality = Performance

Preset = LOW

but during fights and just plain running around i can feel it jitter/lag. for instance if i put the all down and only move the camera (right analog) all the way to the right or left it can't go 180 degrees without freezing up a little even when the FPS monitor is showing consistent 60+

any idea what causes this? or what the remedy is?

AMD RSR and RIS are off and it's set to 900p

has the firmware update been released yet? I'm about to pull the trigger on an Action 5 Pro but based on the whole bit rate issue that was discussed last month not sure if it's better to wait (does DJI usually not go through with their statements?) or just pick up a gopro/insta as the actual quality of video is quite noticeable with the lower bit rates

r/Insta360•

So I've recently noticed a lot of underwater 360 videos without the horrid case in frame, and just chalked it up to a new feature of the X4 since it was released around the same time. I was prepping to sell my X3 and getting the X4 but as I was doing research on the X4 came across that insta360 released a new "invisible" dive case for the X3 (hooray).

now for the folks that bought the original did insta offer any discounts/tradein? as someone who bought the original with the dive case bundle during the X3 release, feels a little disappointing having to pay full price for a case that should've been released to begin with instead of the case that was originally released

Starting to travel more and have been eyeing the Mini 4 Pro (haven't had a drone since the first Mavic Pro years ago now) and was wondering if it's worth just grabbing one now or waiting until BF? The last BF email I could find from DJI in my mailbox was from 2018 and it says Up to 30% but if I'm not mistaken that's usually just accessories, drones are rarely ever over 10% right? unless they're being discontinued or replaced with a newer model?

So I recently printed a hydroponic tower and had a few learned lessons and decided to build a second one with the hope of fixing the issues of the previous one.

One of the issues is the porousness of the print itself. this allows algae to grow (I'm reprinting in black to hopefully prevent this, I know black isn't recommended as it raises the temperature but it's going to be indoors) and get within the pores which can't easily be rinsed or wash

my question is are there any food grade / safe spray sealants? I know there's 2 part food epoxy resin but that seems like it would be a pain to apply to whole tower.
