I'm curious to get some opinions on this. I plan on going to Peru at the end of May for 2 weeks but I can't decide if I want to visit and explore (GAdventures tour) or if it would be worth it to do an Immersion school in Cusco (Maximo Nivel).

My Spanish is still fairly beginner level so I don't know if it be worth spending time in an immersion school for 2 weeks (with weekends and afternoons free) or if I'm better off enjoying exploring Peru now and doing an immersion school when I'm a bit farther along with learning Spanish.

HI All,

I'm a product owner/dev for an an internal application that is maintained by a team of 8 developers (international - US/EU). Over the past ~6 months we have taken what used to be a few related but distinct tools and combined them into a single application with the goal of creating a better user experience and creating a unified tool that the entire team understood and could collaborate on without becoming siloed.

However, now that we all have a singular application to work on, we are running into an issue of having too many small projects split across the team. Each of these smaller projects has a delegated dev lead and each member of the team has a quarterly goal tied to some del

I haven't been able to find an answer to this anywhere...

Recommendations from my doctor and the label say not to take naxopren for longer than 2 weeks. So, after that two week period, how long should I wait before it's "ok" to take naxopren again, say for a couple more weeks?

I'm using it to reduce inflammation and for mild pain relief in my big toe joint after sudden pain and swelling a few weeks back. I took prednisone for a week followed by two weeks of naxopren but it's not 100% healed yet.

I have to quit.

I'm 34 years old and I honestly can't believe how much video games have controlled most of my life. I've prioritized playing games over a social life, pursuing virtually any other hobby, and used gaming as a way to deal with stress and ignore my problems. Now I have very little social life, have only had one gf in my adult life, and hardly have any other hobbies or interests.

Last year when I started grad school I stopped playing games for a few months and felt great about it. Slowly I started gaming again and lately I've been playing League of Legends again. Now I've been neglecting grad school to the point where I don't feel like I'm learning anything lately.

I have an assignment for a data mining class where we are supposed to do classification on the mushroom dataset (if you're familiar), using Python, to determine which features determine if the mushroom is edible or poisonous.

Problem is, in this class we're are NEVER supposed to split the data into train/test.

Well I can't figure out how to do K-Nearest Neighbors without splitting the data and I can't find anything online that remotely shows how I would go about this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi All,

I'm starting a new role a Service Reliability Engineer in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for some suggestions on how to ramp up quickly.

I'll be Jr level SRE, coming from a project management background, and currently working on my masters degree in Data Science. My understanding is that this* role does not deal with much sys admin stuff and will primarily be 50% management/monitoring/reporting + 50% writing automations.

Does anyone have some advice for what to focus on early on to try and get up to speed? I know I'll need to push myself to learn python + SQL at a much higher level but any other advice is greatly appreciated!
