Hi there, I went to Japan a month ago, where I decided to switch my old battery in my IPhone 14 Pro at a reputeable repair center with 10k+ 5 star reviews, decent price and 2 hour repair time.

My old battery had a 78% life, so it was about time.

I thought it was an OEM due to the price and reputable brand, now I don’t think anymore.

At first it had to calibrate - I thought this was normal and the battery worked fine after first few initial full charges. Showed 100% and slowly draining.

Then came a week ago, where it started jumping from 90 to 60 quickly and then from 60 to 20 in an hour or so - wasn’t too skeptical.

Jeg ved godt, jeg bare kan fjerne prismærke fra tøj osv. det har jeg også planer om. Men hvad med puslespil, figurer, japanske knive, vifter osv. som tydeligvis er japansk lavet? Jeg synes nemt man kan komme derop med eks. Knive.

Hvordan kommer jeg bedst udover det?

Og hvad hvis jeg vælger at deklarere? Bliver det så moms på alt over 3250kr eller også det under?

Hvor tit laver de stik prøver?

Lately it feels like a lot of grind-by-weight grinders have entered the home consumer market in a whole new price category, and I’m seriously considering upgrading for a smoother morning workflow.

I’m currently running a DF64 + Ascaso Duo Steel, which I’ve had for about a year. It’s been great, but I’m officially entering my “I just want coffee before my early hospital shift” era 😅

So I’m now looking into GBW grinders, mainly these:

Mahlkönig E64: I was initially in love with this one – looks great, micrometric adjustment, strong brand. But I’ve read a lot about it feeling plastic

I’ve been making espresso for a bit over two years now, and I feel like I’ve got things pretty well dialed in. I can make most beans taste great, so flavour-wise my current grinder isn’t really the issue. The problem is noise.

I feel like I have to be super quiet when grinding. I’m constantly worried my downstairs neighbour (with small kids) can hear it, my girlfriend is covering her ears, and I’m standing there trying to tweak the grinder while it’s running just to make it a bit quieter. The vibration is… wild.

I’ve just started my first job after finishing my studies, so I finally have a bit of budget to upgrade. My machine is an Ascaso Steel Duo PID, which I’m very happ

As title says, my tube has busted this morning and I need to replace the fittings and the tube - however I can only buy the tube alone - so I'm not sure, how I can attach the fittings on top as they're very tight - any success from any of you?

Also did anyone see a tube replacement made of steel that fits the ascaso duo steel v2?

Hi there! I’ve had a bambino -> Jura e8 -> Barista Express and now a standalone grinder DF64 g2. I’m a med student in Europe and I’ll take a year off studies to work as a junior doctor from July, so I’ll start making some real money. To celebrate this and cure my upgradatitis I’ve been looking for machines for the past 5-6 months. I’ve convinced my GF, who now also enjoys a good latte on my setup. That to justify my lovely and expensive beans, my former barista job and the workflow improvement that we can spend around 2.000€ on a machine.

Hey there lads! My GF and I are currently in Edinburgh to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, and we have so far been very pleased, however we’re heading home on Sunday first thing before dawn!

We wanted to go for a tour of either Glenfinnan Viaduct or Loch Ness. Mostly leaning towards Glenfinnan as we’re huge Harry Potter fans (unfortunately the train is not departing after 25th October and we want to go on a tour tomorrow (26).

So the question is: Loch Ness (Glencoe, Fort William) or Glenfinnan Viaduct (Glencoe and Loch Shiel)
