Why is the state allowed to drag things out for months to years on end for a contract negotiation? Why are they allowed to disrespect us while we wait for a third party filled with Newsom-appointed picks to determine if the state is negotiating in bad faith?

There is absolutely no reason for there to be zero caps on how long the state can take to respond and formulate counteroffers or come to a basic contractual agreement. This is about peoples' livelihoods and ability to survive.

When I was at the rally in Sacramento, I asked a few people throughout the crowd what they thought a reasonable amount of time was for a bargaining contract to be finalized once the previous one expires. Every

"Today, just hours before our Contract expires, the State finally responded to our fair pay proposals. Waiting until the final hours to respond to proposals we submitted weeks ago is no way to bargain in good faith. And their proposals don't even come close to what state workers deserve.

The State rejected our proposal for a 20% General Salary Increase (GSI) over three years: 7% in 2026, 7% in 2027, and 6% in 2028. Instead, they're asking state workers to accept no raise this year and only the 3% increase in 2027 that they already committed to last year. They also rejected every remaining economic proposal we put on the table, including improvements to healthcare, special salary adjustme

Hi all, I'm back in the market for some wireless earbuds and want something that sounds as good as possible. Price is secondary as long as the sound is worth the budget, so to speak--if it hits diminishing returns then that's where I'd draw the line, but otherwise the budget is fluid. Also, for TWS earbuds, I think a good quality of ANC is a pretty useful feature, so that would always be a plus. Anyone got some good recommendations? Any new releases or upcoming ones that seem promising?

Nearly everyone is way skinnier than their source material, the women especially. Only X is broad chested. Queen needs to be taller and a bit broader for sure; same thing with Ghost blade. Also, the lighting is a big reason why the models feel off/look bad.

We all know that X's motif for shifting reality is to literally shift into a different persona. Smile even states that he prefers his persona over his regular self because he's "more fun". What if X dislikes using his powers because he likes limiting himself in his regular life to feel actually human?

If you think about it, X could essentially be putting a limiter on himself to purposefully not feel the effects of being nearly omnipotent and the personality shift that comes with being godlike. Not to mention that in this world, Trust and peoples' beliefs about you directly influence how you behave and think. So what X means when he talks about working overtime is becoming a cog in the machi

We know that the Bill has increased ICE budgets by 170 billion dollars+. They are essentially becoming gestapo 2.0 with that funding and will be unchangeable. What if they come into conflict with local police or attempt to deport active duty officers that are off Hispanic (or even any other) origin/ethnicity? Would the police fight back? Would they even be able to?

I was just rewatching episode 3 and only just caught that Miss J specifically mentioned that Mr. Shand created Treeman Group specifically to turn Firm Man into a hero. The Firm Man incident was in 34 AC (after commission) as well. Just an interesting bit of lore and insight into perhaps why Shand split off from MG--perhaps MG only wants to hire "villainous" heroes or ones that are already famous, and doesn't like investing in upstarts.

I keep seeing this sentiment get spammed across social media and I gotta say--people are seriously exposing themselves when they say this.

Is it human to be insecure? To feel jealous and burdened by expectations? Yeah, sure, of course. But if you can't relate to Lin Ling in the same capacity as Yang Chen, then you've either grown up with an extremely low sense of self or have zero conviction in your life.

You don't need to have a major crush that you would do anything for to relate to Lin Ling, you just need to have felt strongly passionate about something even once in your life as well as having even a remote desire to stand up for your beliefs. That is conviction, and that is what Lin

As we know, the CEO of Treeman is the grandson of the OG Ceo/creator of MG. Uncle Rock is nowhere near old looking enough to be Mr. Shand's dad or grandfather. I'm betting the Mr. Shand struck off from MG because of the family power struggle to inherit the company (or just wanted to do things his way) while his brother stayed behind and fought for control. That's why Shang Chao was at the E-Soul casting event as an "investor" (he would have been working with his *actual* uncle!) The family politics are going to be crazy as hell in this show, mark my words!
